Friendly and quick service. Food was fresh and well-seasoned. Portions were not too large but the quality was good.

On 12th Avenue across from Pueblo High School you will find El Gorrion Restaurant.
You can either enjoy your meal outside on their patio or inside where you will find a spotlessly clean dining room with many comfortable self seat tables.
On this visit we ordered their #1 and 3 tacos.
The entire order was served freshly made, hot and truly delicious.
We enjoyed all the menu items with their chimichangas being a particular favorite. This quiet and unassuming little restaurant is one of Tucsons absolute best. A true Tucson treasure.

Their food trucks comes by my place of employment. I miss them now that I am retired. The machaca and beans are the best in town. Better than the "authentico" places on 4th Ave.

Amazing food! I've been going to their location on Nogales Highway for about a year and decided to check out the restaurant. I requested a Machaca Chimichanga (which is not on the menu) and it was amazing! The staff was also very friendly. Definitely coming again!

We ordered a chicken taco plate to go late in the evening. It was delicious! The tacos were stuffed very full with shredded chicken that was seasoned just right. It was spicy, but not so spicy that you had to run for the water or milk pitcher. It had wonderful flavor and lots of lettuce and cheese topping the whole plate. There was refried beans that were just right and topped with cheese and Spanish rice that was well cooked (no crunchy bits) and had a wonderful flavor. We were very pleased overall and the lady who took our order was very helpful with explanations of the different offerings, as we are Caucasian and weren't familiar with some of the terms. We will definitely visit this restaurant when we are in Tucson again and also recommend it to all the locals. You have a gem!

An amazing taco place that has been around for 44 years! The tacos and vichis(jugo) are so good! Friendly service and super quick. Enjoyed a nice cold one while the rain passed by, ok maybe two. 🍺 You vote with your dollars, be sure to vote for small businesses to thrive. Enjoy the tacos de birria!

Carne Asada tacos are ALWAYS on point! I have been going here since I was in high school. The service is excellent and they always make sure you are taken care of. Definitely recommend this place to eat at
