Arrived for lunch. The place was barely occupied. I was immediately warmly greeted and seated and supplied with a menu. My beverage of choice arrived promptly.
Looking around l found the dining area was worn and in need of some upkeep. Additionally, I observed the interior to be immaculately clean.
While the menu is vast in it's numerous available choices, l stuck to the lunch special menu. I ordered the lo mein which comes with soup of choice, additionally l ordered a side of egg rolls.
My egg soup arrived first, it was absolutely delicious.
Soon the egg rolls arrived quickly followed by the entree, while all were delicious, the star of the meal was the entree, I've always found Golden Dragons lo mein to have a smokey flavor to it that elevates it above the competition. The meal presentation was impressive and very inviting.
Overall, I found my meal fresh and exceptionally flavorful.
Not at all golden dragons establishments are equal, and often it's hit and miss, but based on this visit, I'd gladly eat here at this one again and again.
I can easily recommend visiting this establishment for another round.
Our go to Chinese restaurant, their website says it all. “Golden Dragon has all the things most people look for in a Chinese restaurant: a widely varied menu, consistently tasty food in generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Add pleasant, speedy service and you can hardly go wrong.” I find this to be true every time we go there.
Best Genrtal Tso chicken in town, also take some BBQ or Shrimp fried rice home. You won't be dissapointed
The food is always excellent, the staff is very fast and pleasant. I would recommend this place .
Excellent food. Shrimp was cooked perfectly, not too much. Spices were on target. Really, really glad we passed a buffet to get here. Shopping center is undergoing renovation and it looks imposing to enter, but the food is worth it. It doesn't have big horses for decor, but plenty of fun things to look at. A bit dated, but the staff and food more than compensate.
My friend and I have been eating here once a week for at least 5 years. Needless to say, we like it a great deal! And the owners are very nice and make for a very pleasant lunch. They have won numerous Best of Tucson awards.
My goodness. I had NO IDEA the food would be this delicious! My wife and I loved it. The staff was very courteous and polite. We highly recommend!
I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special with a side of egg rolls. The appetizers and soup were solid, but the main dish was just a touch too sweet for my taste. I think I might have drawn the short straw, and that the other offerings on the menu might be more solid options. For the price, though, this is a great value!
It's a really nice place to sit down and eat! They have amazing food and great service and the restaurant it's self is very quiet and relaxing.
