Hungry Fox

I have never been disappointed coming here. One can count on great service and food. The cooks serve the food only on hot plates, the coffee refills never had to be requested. The inside and restrooms are clean. On my most recent visit, one of the servers graciously accepted my polite request not to be addressed as "Sweetie" as we are NOT dating!

I’ve passed this place so many times since back in the 1960s but never once dined here. The GF and I were in the mood to eat at a local breakfast house, but wanted to try something new. We narrowed the choice to The Hungry Fox and Toast 101. We flipped a virtual coin, looking at photos customers had posted here on Google Maps and decided on The Hungry Fox. I’m glad we did, but I never realized just how popular this place is. There was a line of customers waiting, but the line moved fast enough — we waited maybe 15 minutes tops. I noticed a special on the board for “Egg Nog French Toast”; It was delicious, the egg nog was very subtle. I also ordered a side of eggs and was surprised by a plate of four! Breakfast was totally yummy, but don’t tell my cardiologist. Prices reasonable. Service friendly and efficient.

This cozy little restaurant captures that old family style diner feeling where locals are know by the staff. It was busy and a bit chaotic, but full of older clientele and full of life! The food was amazing. I ordered the Country Benedict, which would stop any respectable heart, and coffee. It seems that my cup was never empty. The staff was super friendly, quick, and eager to please. I only had breakfast, but I would definitely go back for lunch and dinner. Enjoy!

This was my first time here, the look is dated but it reminds you of grandma's house. The service and the food is where they got me. The waitress Michelle was fantastic! She was very attentive and friendly, our food came out hot, fast and delicious! They also make fresh bread in house that is worth the trip here all on it's own. Give this place a try it will not disappoint

It’s pumpkin season and they have 2 pancakes for $6.49. I like that you can get breakfast anytime. I also like that they closed at 2pm and when we showed up at 1:34 they welcomed us in as if we came in hours before closing. The food was served hot. The server was running around busy and a little forgetful but it was a good experience and we will be back.

CINNAMON ROLLS!!!! Oh my goodness, this place had the best I've ever had! And the rest of the menu is delicious as well. They have S#!+ on a Shingle, Corned beef hash, pork tenderloin, chicken fried steak, and all your favorite comfort foods. Double yoke eggs! Service is excellent and friendly. Get there early! They go on a wait almost every day at morning rush, but don't worry... they turn the tables very quickly and get you in usually in just a few minutes.
