We had high expectations for this place and they did not let us down. We got there around 500 and it wasn't too busy. When we left, there was a 35 min wait. You can tell they are under staffed but they did everything they could to accommodate everyone. I would highly suggest trying this place. We will be back!!!
We came in for a family dinner. We were able to make a reservation a couple days ahead. The food was great.
It was the night before our father's memorial service and we had a lot of talking to do. Our server Chris was very helpful in making an emotional evening lighthearted and fun, without even knowing he was doing so. I thank him for letting us have the time we needed. He even took a photo for us, plus, snuck a selfie of himself.

One of the strangest and most absolutely glorious dining experiences of my life. Josh is a bold and beautiful individual. The bacon cheese fries were the most truly unfathomable serving size I’ve ever seen. Beer selection is excellent and Josh had the profiles down to a tee. I never expected to have such an intellectual conversation about chimps and ducks, but he is an expert in both. If I ever come back, I’m bringing a broadsword.
Had a short wait for a table but the Bartenders we're more then happy to accommodate us with all of our needs. Including offering to let us order off of the full menu at the bar. They have some of the best beer I have ever drank. And most definitely some of the best food I have ever eaten. The inside of the restaurant was really nice looking. Incorporating the old brewery tanks into the middle of the restaurant. Also allowing with a window, to see to see the tanks that are used daily. You can tell, like everywhere else, they were extremely short staffed. But, our food came out quickly, our waitress was more than extremely nice, and someone from the kitchen brought our food out to us their selves. Above and beyond is what I call that. Kudos to the staff. I understand how the star rating system works. But, this rating of 5 stars is just not good enough. A perfect 10 is what I give them. If I'm ever in Topeka Kansas again I am most definitely going to eat there.
Friendly staff, very unique place to eat. While you are waiting for your table, walk around the place and take in the coziness of their old building. Go to their brewery area, which includes a cute, well-dressed skeleton. Check their small fireplace corner at the end of the hall. Read facts about the Sumatra Tigers. Food was good, not exactly for the healthy body, still delicious. Just be aware and be prepared to wait for up to an hour during their peak time once you are sitting.
A friend of mine stopped in for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. It wasn't overly busy but a good crowd. We sat on the bar side, the atmosphere was upbeat and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Our food was excellent! We had the jalapeño poppers to start. These weren't your run of the mill, frozen kind but fresh cut, hand made poppers that were delicious. I ended up having the fish and chips as my main course. They were crisp on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside, highly recommend.
As far as drinks, we sampled the 3 new beers from the Blind Tiger Brewery. All 3 were good but I settled on the Blind Tiger Bock. It was so smooth and easy to drink that I ended up buying a growler to take home!
The best part of the night though was the service. Our food and drinks were served quickly but our waitress made the day. Personable and funny while taking care of anything we needed. If you get Amy, you're in for a treat!
I'll definitely be back with more friends and family as I feel this will be a regular hang out. The prices are mid range and well worth it for both food and drinks.
