My daughter and I were in town for a choir competition. We googled looking for vegan food. I held my breath because it's hard to find vegan food in Wichita, where we live. The Burger Stand popped up and we saw a black bean burger on their menu and went for it. I called the order in from the car because we were crunched for time. It was done in 15 minutes. This was THE BEST vegan burger I have eaten. Half way through my burger I was telling my kid that I'd drive 2.5 hours to eat this again. Quality food and I am a hard critic.
Not super into burgers or beer?!? Me neither, but this place is my go to!!! Kombucha on tap, best black burger & grilled chicken in town, amazing salads and they always have exciting flavors & creative specials! I adore this place & the staff! Super clean, crazy friendly, comfy & fun.
We had a smoke burger, the holy jalapeño made with grilled chicken and truffle fries. Everything was recommended by the gentleman behind the counter. The food was excellent we planned on taking some home but ate it all. The chicken was juicy not dry and many extra sauces available if needed. Michael was the very knowledgeable bartender who recommended a couple of local IPAs my husband enjoyed. I enjoyed the old fashioned. He just received a smoker machine and I was lucky enough to be one of the first ones to try a lightly smoked old fashioned. Oh my wish, I lived closer to the Burger Stand! I would be a regular!
We dined in, staff was super helpful as it appeared we didn’t know how to order etc.
Ended up getting a chx sando (Barnyard Bash) and it was good. The bun was light and not like a greasy brioche bun, so that was cool. The chx was cooked well, delicious choice.
Also grabbed a special, the El Royale..not like on Pulp Fiction, but this was a double patty (2x4oz), onion-bacon jam, thousand island love fest in between some bread. It was tasty, but I might have liked a full size patty in there next time.
Also had some truffle fries, so rich and delicious. Compared those to the poutine fries, and the truffle fries won. Poutine isn’t easy to master!
Great beer selection, lotsa local brews on draft..maybe if I had to complain, they should get a couple more blondes in the beer selection.
I’ll definitely go again to this place; looks like it would be a lot of fun for a later dinner and even the trivia night.
The Burger Stand has an excellent location. A beautiful area in an easy to find shopping center with lots of seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking as well.
Their fresh made food comes with a high price tag. I had a Brookwood burger and onion rings. Both were excellent! This seems like it would be a good, casual date place. However; if you're just looking for a quick bite, some burgers and fries, do not go here.
I loved the location, decor, ambiance. I really enjoyed the flavors. The high prices are what keeps the Burger Stand from a perfect 5 star rating. Other than that, I really liked this place.

I ended up having a salad here because I wasn't very hungry and was very happy with what I got. I also heard that the marshmallow sauce was surprisingly good with the sweet potato fries.
Good time and atmosphere. Lady bartenders had good customer service. My son had the kids burger and I had a bunless black bean burger
The Classic burger was amazing. Cooked to our request. Onion rings were great too. Would've been nice to receive my shake at the same time as our food though. A little pricier than expected for 2 people but overall good visit.
