The coffee shop that has taken over this space has quickly become one of my favorite places in downtown Cleveland. Comfy leather couches, a delicious house Sumatran (my personal favorite bean), and amazingly good pizzas, salads, and sandwiches from NE-Ohio local suppliers. The menu is very foodie-centric, with options like Red Curry & Duck Confit flatbread pizza, Espresso-crusted Pork Tenderloin wraps, and more. To drive the point home, their cheese pizza is known as "The Boring".
This place is struggling and has during all of 2010.
Planned as an indoor driving range with a bar, the food was an afterthought (bad idea in CLE).
Competitors on e4th offered $1 beer and $4 Martini's, they had no specials.
Caddy, like most of CLE, doesn't want to under-value its product and would rather see the bar empty then make less then 400% per drink (stnd markup).
The golf simulators to most people seem like a video game, and $35/hr is too much for a video game, no matter how good. However these are not 'video games' but the most accurate simulator I have ever seen, even putting is near perfect.
I hear the bar is under new management (Feb 2011) so if you see crazy specials I urge you to come in and see if its for you, I hope they do something to earn my dollars in the future
I frequent often and always enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere. They have a unique twist on sandwiches and the drinks are delicious and made to satisfaction. A nice coffee alternative.
CLOSED!!!! :(
