If you're looking for authentic, classic Italian in Tampa, go no further. I'm talking about being served by an old, jovial Don and his wife who were so genuinely happy to serve us. Me and GF wanted a nice place to eat for my Birthday and the place didn't disappoint. The food is to die for and the atmosphere was very intimate with classic(at least what I thought was classical) Italian music in the background. This is date night level eating. :)

Terrific start to a nice Italian meal. Italian wine with hints of fresh raspberries while still tart served by the owner Sal, while his wife Libby can be heard clanging away in the kitchen. We had the place to ourselves, so got to practice a little language - bennisimo pane é salsa di pomodoro.

Fantastic restaurant! The salad was extremely flavorful. My main dish, cheese raviolis was the perfect portion size and had a great, handmade marinara sauce to top it. To finish off the great meal, I had a delicious cannoli. Overall the meal was great beginning to end. The restaurant may not look like much when you walk in, but give it a chance and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend!

I love the food here. It’s a family atmosphere. This isn’t just going out to eat it is an experience. Sal and his wife are good people and they really care about the customers. The experience is that an old school restaurant where the owners come out and greet you and speak with you. This isn’t some chain style restaurant where you go in and out. This is a place where you can enjoy the dinner as well as the personal device you get. This place is great. I have been eating here since they had the location on Armenia.

My grandfather was a regular here. He passed away this past weekend and the owner of the place closed down just for my family to come by after the funeral. The service and food was delicious! The appetizer was a breaded veal, with a plate of salad, the meal was a delicious crab meat spaghetti in red sauce. This place looks like a little hole in the wall, but the food is FANTASTIC. Will return, for sure!

I had an Italian mother who was a wonderful cook! This place serves food that reminds me of that of my mother and my nonna! It is a small family run place, where you can hear them speaking Italian. If you want fast service, go to Olive Garden. If you want a relaxing lunch or dinner with an authentic taste of Sicily, come eat here !!!

This. Place. Is. FANTASTIC. Everything from the veal cutlets with your salad, to the main course, dessert and coffee. Coming from a full blooded Italian from Chicago, this is one of the most authentic Italian restaurants I've been to. Everything was amazing, and tasted like home. You must try!
