A gem of a place in South Tampa. Love the retro 50s vibes. Highly recommend the cherry coke brain freeze, which is vanilla soft serve, cherry shaved ice, and coke mixed together.
I used to drive past it all the time. I could tell by looking at it that it would be a place my dad would love, so I waited to go until he visited. I was right, he loved it. So much so that we went back the next day for more! And I've been back several times since.
I came with my friend and the staff was so nice. The ice cream didn't feel heavy or too sweet, and the sitting area is so nice that you forget it's right next to a busy road. Amazing prices, staff, and ice cream. Will definitely be coming back
I took my grandson after school to celebrate his making Honor Roll! He chose a large vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate and it was Large!! He loved it. I had a medium cup of mint chocolate, and it was the best ever!
My grandson went to explore the secret garden and just relaxed in the beautiful quiet for a while!

We went early before the evening crowds started to come. The ice cream is good but it was a little soft which added to the melting factor. I love the cars and play area for the kids. It was neat to see the lights come on and the added drive thru area next door. Overall a great place to spend an evening getting ice cream.
First time.. And fell in love! I love my cherry-vanilla ice cream! And that was a Small size🫣😊. It was clean, friendly, pet-friendly, and really beautiful 50's deco!! I love the vibe!
Love this place! Very family friendly and fun for kids to stretch themselves. Loved the icecream and their floats. Got my son a sherbert and a pistachio/ chocolate fudge ice cream. Really hits the spot on a hot day! 10/5 would recommend coming here for your cold sweets 😋
Step back in time and enjoy one of the best treats Tampa has to offer! Dairy Joy is my absolute go to for ice cream and milkshakes! The strawberry milkshake is my all time favorite, but they have so many flavors to choose from. The atmosphere is fun and the employees are very friendly. Dairy Joy has a cute sitting area with display retro golf carts; fun for kids and great for photo sessions. You can also conveniently order in their drive thru. My husband and I had some of our engagement pictures taken there for fun and they turned out great! If you’ve never been, it’s worth stopping by!
Love this place. There are actually two spots that are right next to each other. One is dine in, and the other is drive-through only. I highly recommend the dole whip swirl and the Shirley temple

Folks in the drive thru are fast and friendly!!! Root Beer float with premium ice cream is fantastic and they give you the remaining A & W root beer in the can.
OMG, best place I've been in a long time. Great Ice Cream, Great Atmosphere AND VERY reasonably priced. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was after eating here! The kids enjoyed exploring it, and the adults enjoyed the retro vibe!
