We’re new to the area and decided to get our first local seafood take out from Taste of Boston. The food was great and easy to order online. When I went in to pickup the women that got my order for me were extremely personable and friendly, always goes a long way! One of us ordered the lobster roll which had the meat in a separate dish so we could assemble it at home and keep the roll from getting soggy, a great idea. We’ll be back for sure!
New England.clam.chowdah was excellent. Tried it on a whim. Nice thick broth. Very creamy..Plenty of.clams.and potatoes...Bonus for 2 packs of oyster crackers.

The staff is pleasant and they serve the food with happy conversations with their guests. The food is served hot and so fresh tasting. They have excellent Fish & Chips, Basa Fish Tacos, Grilled and Blackened Basa Sandwiches.
We noticed two cute little Squirrels that like to say hello to the guests while sitting outside.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Tampa area, and even though we haven’t been here in a while it was worth the wait. It’s under new ownership since our last visit and things haven’t missed a beat and it appears to be much better “Thanxs Deborah”. The customer service was spot on today “Thanxs Som” and better than the past ownership. As usual the food was very tasty and nice and hot upon delivery to our table. The presentation of the food was something very different but appreciated. It shows they care about their customers and their business. We noticed some moderate changes which makes this spot more cozy and welcoming. If you live in Tampa or either visiting, then I would make this trip here. We drive about 40 miles to enjoy this wonderful place and well worth it.
Got whole belly clams but there were only 4 bellies the rest were strips.
Onion rings had hard batter pieces stuck to them.
Usually love this place ! Just an off day hopefully! Will return.
Nice AGAIN... This time I got to savor a new item on their menu (Lobster quesadillas) ...So goood with lobster pieces bursting at the seams... Very generous serving. Thank you as always for such attention to the customer and quality of the food.
Looking forward already to my next time trying some new.

The staff manager was friendly and genuinely interested with the well-being of her clientele.
Table and basket containing the condiments were spotless. Food was extremely fresh - grouper sandwich was so juicy and fluffy…I have not had a grouper sandwich that good in Florida in 30 years!!! New management and new cooks … it is all clear now why the experience is better than ever. Thank you Christina for a beautiful experience- you have convinced us to take new habits at a taste of Boston
Been on the hunt for some authentic New England seafood and this place is the spot! My fiancé and I are from Boston, so finding this place was a blessing because generally the seafood in Tampa isn’t great. However, Taste of Boston is THAT SPOT! The food is phenomenal, it’s fresh, and the service is impeccable. The location is perfect and made us feel like we were back home for a little bit. Our waitress took good care of us. She even apologized for it being so busy (please don’t apologize, you were amazing) and still did everything to make our experience A+. We are so excited to come back and we will be telling all of our friends to come try this place. 10/10!!!

So my daughter and I went fishing on the pier for the first time a few weeks ago as they were closing. The servers were cleaning up for the night and were very pleasant and kind. I said I would come back and try them out. I came back with my BEST FRIEND Korbin. I always wanted to try a lobsta roll. So I got a warm one. Not a fan to be honest even if the price were less I wouldn’t get one again. Maybe I would be tempted to try a cold one as I understand there is a big difference in flavor but 30 bucks is a little steep to try something I didn’t care for the first time. Korbin didn’t like it either we did enjoy the fries and coleslaw. The other food coming out looked and smelled FANTASTIC. They were very busy and still several servers made time to say high to Korbin and I. We will be back for certain. FANTASTIC FOLKS working there. FANTASTIC Let me add that Sunday I took my daughter fishing and we popped in for ice cream. We went in to order and my daughter said that looks just like Korbin. We were looking for a restaurant where we could come by boat. Taste of Boston was great. There is a public dock right next to the restaurant. The service was great, including bringing water for our dog. The view was great. The food was really good and prices were reasonable. My husband had fish and chips and really enjoyed it. I had a cheeseburger. I'm very picky about my burgers and this one was great. The ice cream was some of the best I've had. We will definitely be back!
Such a cute little place. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. We ended there on father's day and I expected it to be busy or to receive mediocre service because it's a big day for restaurants, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Everything was so tasty and they our waitress made the 2 men at the table feel father's day special. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back to have another lobster roll.
