The Best Thai food in Tampa Bay Area!
I love the tasty, comprehensive, yet simple lunches (starter, main course, and a little sweet to finish it off). Also, the dinners in this cozy setting is a must. The friendly staff and the honest-to-god good cooks in the kitchen makes any evening an enjoyable visit (except Monday’s when they are closed).
Great restaurant and great people. I have been going to Thai Island for over 10 years and am never disappointed. Highly recommend.
We've eaten here several times now, and it's consistently very good. Davis Island is beautiful, and this place has a nice cozy feel. We like to eat outside. Last time, the staff set up an extra fan for us so we could enjoy our meal outside comfortably. I thought that was pretty cool. 10/10 would recommend
The Panang curry is wonderful. The oyster mushroom dish wasn’t much taste though.
Wonderful outside seating - but no indoor seating as of April 2021 - so not much seating! I hope they open indoor soon because I don’t know how they are managing! Photos as of April 2021.
Atmosphere was warm and quaint. Clay the owner was a gem. All the food had the best flavors. Green Tai Curry was a little runny but the flavors made up for it❤️❤️❤️🔥 Delicious authentic TAI Food
I ordered the Panang Curry with eggplant. It was so delicious. The service was amazing as well. Our waitress was very attentive. I cannot wait to come back to this place.

Thai Island Duck was smooth and the best tasting meat i’ve had in a while. I also recommend the green thai tea drink. Not too sweet but perfect.
One of Tampa’s best restaurants. Penn and clay are fantastic and the food they serve is amazing every time. Highly recommend the chicken panang!
1st time to Thai Island. Colorful, quaint, excellent service and very tasty and celebrating 20 years in same Davis Island location. Clay is a terrific host, wife and mother in law all make for a great family restaurant.
