This restaurant is great hidden gem. It's a historic building that was built in 1884 and was originally a grocery store. That's why the name "Lee's grocery"still remains. The atmosphere is very laid back. The service that we received was very nice too. The pizza was very tasty and had plenty of styles to choose from. There is a wide selection of beers and sodas. There is a outdoor patio that is fenced-in and pet friendly. The owner is very friendly and down-to-earth.
This is a great local pizza joint. It's nestled in the cutest neighborhood and has a great selection of beer. They've got refrigerators lining the place where you can pick out the can of your choice. They also have a few local options on draft. The specialties pies are really different than most laces, we loved the Kiki Do You Love Me and recently tried the Minor Threat with added meatballs and we loved it too! Wings are amazing, you've gotta order them and we recommend getting a smaller pizza so you can eat it all.
Everyone who has been to Lee’s grocery can attest to how good the pizza and wings are, not to mention the great energy of this local corner bar. They serve wine and beer and have a huge selection of self serve beers. It’s tucked away in a residential neighborhood in Tampa Heights, right outside of downtown. Fun fact I did drive here during a hurricane evacuation to try to get wings.
Delicious pizza and wings! A 10inch was the perfect size to share with my partner and the wings came out piping hot! The beer selection was also extensive with lots of variety and we can’t wait to come back

Ordered the Sweet Thai Chili wings & “Don’t stand so close to me” pizza. Both were great!
Apparently very busy on the weekend, so get there early. On a random Thursday, it was really nice for a drink and pizzas/beer. Service was on point, grabbed us beers before we were out. Pizzas were hot and flavorful. Wings were mild, but we'll seasoned. Would come back and would love to live in the neighborhood and walk to this great little place!
Their wings are absolutely delicious, same for the pizza the 16" is huge
Some of the best pizza and wings!! When we’re nearby, we make sure to stop by to eat and/or take something home. The chicken was very tender and the sauce on the wings was chef’s kiss. This was something odd (idk if this is normal) but someone was handling a big uncovered baking tray of the wings (not sure if they were cooked/uncooked) in the freezer and that was a bit unsettling. Anyways, the bbq sriracha is unique and hits the spot. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Our visit to Lee’s Grocery was today during the late afternoon time. We were promptly greeted by our fabulous server. Our beer orders were served up quick and icy cold. Pizza order was brought out steaming hot and fresh from the oven. We went with a vegetarian option and meat option. Both were excellent with soft chewy crusts. We brought have plenty of leftovers along with a nice selection from their beer options. Pristine clean place - music at level where you can hold a conversation. If you haven’t tried them out please do - you won’t be disappointed. Ample street parking.
You know...
They call themselves a pizza restaurant — but, to be completely honest...the reviews aren't lying about the wings y'all!
They're smoked & seasoned nicely & basically offer an upscale take on bar classics — but priced at a casual rate.
Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff & beautiful presentation.
Will definitely be back (with friends!)
