My husband and I found this place when we were on vacation. When we walked in the door there was a gentleman playing an acoustic guitar. The service was superb and everyone was super nice. The best part of this place was the authentic German food. My husband ordered the sampler and got food from schnitzel to spatzle. We also had a delicious raspberry chocolate cake. I would highly recommend this place.

What a find!!! This place is a GREAT authentic German/Swiss eating experience! Homemade everything! Very unique flavor combinations that all seem to compliment the last. Lovely sides that are bottomless.. an adorable man out front playing the accordion kicks off the experience in a way that transports you to an older time in a wonderful place! You are not treated like a 4 top table ready to turn out.. but rather invited to enjoy a moment and stay, bask in a delightful dining experience and share it with those fortunate enough to join you. The atmosphere is immersive and the staff playful and attentive. Vegetarian options.. meat lovers.. and THE BOOT beer....!!! An absolute MUST stop if in the area.. And worth a hefty drive if your even close to here.. Cheers!!! Can't wait til my next visit!

Great authentic Bavarian atmosphere and cuisine. The food is fantastic and portions are plentiful, served family style. Almost everything about this place is authentic Bavaria. The menu has plenty of options and the beer selection is substantial. Their Black Forest Cake was delicious but it was lacking the kirschwasser flavor. It seems that is just impossible to find in the US but not everyone likes it. Dinner for two, with two beers and desserts was only about $65. We have come every few years and will continue as the quality has been consistent. It really is like a small town Bavarian tavern.

Absolutely delicious German meal!! Something like I would prepare at home. This restaurant has a very home welcoming environment. The waitresses are very friendly and speak when spoken too. Good quality stop. I like more spicy food but this is original. Check it out if you get a chance

We celebrated our anniversary by visiting Edelweiss for the first time. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and we especially enjoyed the fellas playing in the band outside. They played Happy Anniversary for us to the tune of Happy Birthday. The food was good and the portions plentiful. It was fun trying to pronounce the names of the dishes on the menu. I just pointed and told the waitress I want that! 😄 We had to get dessert to go and we chose black forest cake. We had a wonderful time and the only reason I'm deducting a star is the food was good but not great. We didn't really feel like we got the tasting experience of German food that we were expecting. It was breaded pork in gravy with green beans and cabbage that could be found in most any restaurant. We were also disappointed in the cake that even though it was moist, it lacked flavor, especially the icing. We will go here again and try some other choices on the menu.

Fun little restaurant off I-81. Rustic inside with large timber walls. We tried the sampler to get a taste of German food. It was great with 4 different sides and 5 different main course dishes. Portions were a good size for 2 people. Great fun trying food we were not accustomed to eating. Everything was good.

Me and my sister had just left DC to head back home and had missed out on the German restaraunt we wanted to visit there in Georgetown due to it being closed. Suddenly, driving down the interstate I see this restaraunt on one of the interstate food signs. Talk about a surprise! We just had to exit it and give it a shot and this place did not let down! The atmosphere here was pleasant and reminiscent of a German style Inn. The waitress was extremely polite and just amazing. I can't remember her name but a huge shout out to her for being incredible. The price of the food here was reasonable and they gave you rather large portions. Along with the entree she brought out other goodies for us to try and even offered to bring out more for free. They have a good German beer selection as well. If you ever get close to this place give it a go, it's pretty good(:

What a stellar place to eat. If this wasn’t eight hours from Atlanta I would be here once a month. Thank you for maintaining such a authentic atmosphere and menu. I will be stopping every time I go back home to Maryland. Already looking forward to stopping again as a rest on a long road trip.

Delicious! My dad and I love coming here when we have a chance or are in the area! Everything is good. Doesn't matter what you get. The desserts are also delicious, and basically all of the meals are family style + sides!
