Bagels and Buns has the best bagels hands down on the island!!! Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly!! They have become family over the years!!!
I think bagels and buns is one of the best bagel stores in New York City without no question freshness is key did not just bagels have a whole lot of other things as well so if you have in the neighborhood stop in and you won't be disappointed that's just my opinion.....
I live Upstate NY and miss a real NYC bagel. My good friend sent me two dozen of your fabulous huge bagels overnight. What a wonderful and thoughtful surprise. I am over the moon! Nothing up here even comes close. Amazing how a simple bagel can bring so much joy !!!!
The business and the people who work here are amazing I. Every sense of the word!! The food is delicious and they have a huge heart ♥️ When homeless people come asking to fill up a water jug, they tell him to go choose any size water from the cooler and fill up his jug, they also feed them when they ask for free!! It’s beyond wonderful in this world today to see love and kindness in action!! Love you guys!!!
I live outside of Washington DC. I read a story about this restaurant feeding the homeless. It moved me so much. When I get back to NY, I will make Bagels and Buns a priority stop. It’s people like you that make a big difference in this world. God bless you all.
I've never actually been here because I'm from the Albany area and havent been to Staten Island before but I just read about how the owners always offer a homeless man a meal and water whenever he stops in. They've been doing it for a while and it absolutely touched my heart! What amazing people! Bless the owners and staff 🙏

Wasn’t planning to leave a review, just grab some food for the road, but i was pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were really well made with fresh, good ingredients. Love the mini bagel concept! I thought the food I ordered would be fine (didn’t have too much time to plan food) , but it was actually really good! It was quick to be ready and good prices. Thanks guys :)
