Spice Rack

I visited the store today. Mr. Pandya, the store manager is extremely courteous, friendly, patient and an attentive listener. He gave m a grand tour of the store taking me through each isle. This is a great neighbourhood Indian grocery store and has most of the items that I would need. The produce is fresh, the frozen section is adequate and the store is clean. I strongly recommend this store and will visit frequently vs driving an hour plus and or ordering online for my essentials.

I love to buy Indian and sri lankan groceries from this place and the lady at the counter is very nice,friendly and helpful ,I once came across an old home made pickle which wasn't edible, other than that have never had any bad experiences with this place and you can find most of the sri lankan and Indian spices and other stuffs here..

I enjoy their food every single time I go, I am never disappointed. They give me samples for dishes I have never had. The food is so flavorful and the service is nice. I've been going since Febuary 2017, and kind of stumbled upon it. Finding good ethnic vegan meals on Staten Island is hard, so I was very happy to find something ETHNIC and VEGAN FRIENDLY. I happen to still eat fish, so I tried their King fish curry and oh my goodness! delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! and affordable!

Called in an order. Was very specific on what I wanted. Before any thinks I was difficult or had extreme demands. I ordered a "chicken tikki masala" and requested it to be "extra extra spicy". I repeated it at least twice and even made a joke that I could handle it as she asked if I was sure when I placed my order. I responded "yes extra spicy please". The order arrived roughly 45 minutes later and wasn't even mild spice. It had no heat at all and the food was warm as well. There was barely any flavor and was very disappointing. I called as requested to speak to the manager. Was informed by the same woman that took my order that she had "just left" asked for the managers name and she refused to share. Was promised a call back two days ago and nothing. Would not recommend this place as they by their actions do no care about the quality of the food they are serving and the customer service is poor at best. There are better places to eat Indian food!
