Big Steins Deli

My first time trying this deli. It did not disappoint. I was quite shocked to see the size of my Skyscraper Club sandwich, it was humongous! Several bread options, went with marble and it was fresh. Was ready in 5 minutes, meat was fresh and juicy, finally found a pickle that I couldn't see underneath. Made great dinner too as I couldn't handle the whole thing by myself!

I would have thought that this Ma and Pa deli would have had better hospitality! Nope, not here, rude and unprofessional! I walked into this deli and was not greeted or spoken to at all, they actually looked at me as if I was not supposed to be there, both the lady in the back preparing sandwiches and man in the front taking orders. I am so glad that I have many choices as to where I can spend my money In better establishments that appreciates ALL of their patrons, not just the ones that look like them! Sad to say that a professional colleague recommended this deli. He would have been more received than me as his skin is a little lighter than mine. Big Stein’s could only survive in St Pete! News Flash it’s a different world with diversity and plenty of options! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I am almost 100 percent sure that the employees/owners would not be open to cultural diversity training.

Excellent sandwich shop! They make totally awesome sandwiches, subs & wraps. We're talking primo quality meats & their chicken salad is superb. They allow for food delivery service pickup I believe. Everything is always fresh...breads, meats, wraps & produce. So far, everything ordered is a 2-meal or 2-person deal. Unless you can manage to eat it in 1 sitting. Enjoy!!

AMAZING place with amazing affordable food. I went in last week and the guy working the counter (Presumably the owner) was so helpful and pleasant with helping me order. Also I got the triple decker which was like 9 bucks, he warned me it was big but I wasn’t expecting the giant portion you get. It’s crazy how the food is so good and so cheap with the huge portions. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know.

Definitely need to treat people like customers.. not speaking when someone enters your establishment definitely not a great look!! Now it’s as simple as this no matter how many stars your establishment gains or gets… the way a business grows definitely comes down to how Your treat your paying customers.. they ones that make sure your open for generations…. And Diversity is something BIg stiens should embrace… from people of all color and Race.. so get your act together because it’s can change when you start to change….actually know I wasn’t that customer…. But he should have reviewed you as well…. My attempt was a different day and not when when you were closing for the day!!!! Again your apology would been better but stiens deli will remain the same… And the fact that my professional colleague told me to go and try your establishment.. I’ll steer away. From stiens Deli….

First time trying this place out! Absolutely amazing chicken salad sub. Prices are great I got a small sub for $5 and some change but it was such a big portion of a sub for a small one. Definitely recommend this place over subway or chain places. I’m guessing it was the owner who made my sub and cashed me out but he was nice and I will be back. Eat local don’t go to subway haha
