The taste on the ribs eye was pretty good, I asked for medium it was more like medium rare. The clam chowder soup was good side. Bread was tasty!

This was our first time visiting the Outback Steakhouse in Somerville and we will absolutely be coming back due to the wonderful service from our server Kasey. She arrived at our table promptly with a pep in her step and a twinkle in her eye. She treated us as though she had known us our whole life and made a feel welcome. If you’re looking for five star service Kasey is your girl. The food arrived in an orderly fashion and everything was extremely tasty. If I could give more stars I would.

For a steak house I was let down with the ribeye. My wife had the prime rib and it had much better flavor. Plus the prime rib was tender. The ribeye was tough. The rice seemed old. The mashed potatoes were good. The service was very good.

Actually, I would like to give 4 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the service. In average, it got 3 stars from me:
FOOD: The steak we ordered was very tasty. The seasonal shrimp and bread were enjoyable. But, the house salad was kinda rough. The seasonal smoke drink was tasted like cough syrup, not my type.
SERVICE: The waiter was very hard to get. It took us a long wait for placing the order and getting the check. He never came to check for the bread and drink refill.... And the restaurant was not busy when we were eating there.

Service was good but no vegan options. Also, the oil they use to fry anything there is Beef Tallow oil. Basically, beef fat. So I got plain dry fettuccine & mushrooms Then, I asked for olive oil, scallions, salt & pepper. We also didn't get bread, one serving, not until we were about to leave. But the manager was nice trying to accommodate me.

I asked for a medium steak they gave me raw steak cool didnt eat it. Let the waiter know just to cook it well done because at least then ill be able to eat it. Which she did. I shrugged it off w.e later on I got food poisoning from eating there. I would give it a 0 if I could will never go there again
