The taste on the ribs eye was pretty good, I asked for medium it was more like medium rare. The clam chowder soup was good side. Bread was tasty!

This was our first time visiting the Outback Steakhouse in Somerville and we will absolutely be coming back due to the wonderful service from our server Kasey. She arrived at our table promptly with a pep in her step and a twinkle in her eye. She treated us as though she had known us our whole life and made a feel welcome. If you’re looking for five star service Kasey is your girl. The food arrived in an orderly fashion and everything was extremely tasty. If I could give more stars I would.

For a steak house I was let down with the ribeye. My wife had the prime rib and it had much better flavor. Plus the prime rib was tender. The ribeye was tough. The rice seemed old. The mashed potatoes were good. The service was very good.

Actually, I would like to give 4 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the service. In average, it got 3 stars from me:
FOOD: The steak we ordered was very tasty. The seasonal shrimp and bread were enjoyable. But, the house salad was kinda rough. The seasonal smoke drink was tasted like cough syrup, not my type.
SERVICE: The waiter was very hard to get. It took us a long wait for placing the order and getting the check. He never came to check for the bread and drink refill.... And the restaurant was not busy when we were eating there.

Service was good but no vegan options. Also, the oil they use to fry anything there is Beef Tallow oil. Basically, beef fat. So I got plain dry fettuccine & mushrooms Then, I asked for olive oil, scallions, salt & pepper. We also didn't get bread, one serving, not until we were about to leave. But the manager was nice trying to accommodate me.

I asked for a medium steak they gave me raw steak cool didnt eat it. Let the waiter know just to cook it well done because at least then ill be able to eat it. Which she did. I shrugged it off w.e later on I got food poisoning from eating there. I would give it a 0 if I could will never go there again

Awful service! Went for lunch on saturday, empty place yet took so long for our order! Blooming onion was overcooked and tiny, we had steakhouse salad, steak lunch and cup of chowder so nothing that should take so long! ....they were giving beepers to people waiting yet the whole place was empty! Have not had a good experience here yet and will never go back! Ill go to peabody before this one! Such a joke.

Waited over 15 minutes to be seated, waitress took another 15 minutes before bringing us water with out straws. My frozen drink still had ice chips in it. No warm bread to start food took another 35 minutes to come out. The entree my daughter ordered came with a lobster tail the waitress tried to charge as a side order. Had to pack our food before it came because couldn't take it no more. Not worth the trip

Went for prime rib, even called ahead and huge let down.... did not give me what I ordered , sampler had burned onion petals and soggy fries. And the medium rare prime rib I ordered was medium well and dry as fuck. This was my first time here and hated it. Waitress was nice but manager was kind of a bitch to me about it. I don’t recommend this place at all!

My boyfriend and I went there after we did some shopping in the area and everything was amazing. We had the best server who was really nice and great conversation, I even asked what day she worked so I can come back and be served by her. My servers name was Ruth and she was great, I can't complain about a thing!

Our server was great efficient and friendly I went yesterday around 1 in the afternoon I can't remember his name actually I think it was Alex. I usually go at night it was my first time at lunch they also have great red sangria

Jill, Loring, Zach and lovely Nicole at Assembly Square were incredibly kind to me, as I came in to commemorate what would have been my late best friend Scott’s 49th birthday. I am deeply moved at their care and compassion to me as I sat, tearfully, to remember him on his birthday at his very favorite restaurant. Now, I know why he loved Outback so much�

I had high hopes coming in (I don't know why) but as soon as you get in the hostess tried to get us to leave or wait 45 mins when the place was half empty. I should have known right away, so we found our own table and the waitress was a joke right from the get go. Table was disgusting not ever cleaned, we cleaned it ourselves. No utensils, took forever for 4 drinks. She kept disappearing out of sight for what seemed like forever and when she did appear she got almost everything we said wrong. The appetizers I would have been embarrassed to serve at my own house so clearly the cooks shouldn't have that job, ran out of food for some people while others got the mashed potatoes. Small portions, the floor was slippery like an ice skating rink. I will never go back to this location and I have no idea how they are still open. STAY AWAY!!

Worse experience I've had. Orders incorrect and meals cooked poorly. Manager and staff were very understanding and compensated most of the bill. In my opinion, the entire bill should have been comp'd. I will not be going for a long time. Too add insult to injury it was my Birthday!

Waiter was horrible and did not give us attention. He made it seem like he did now want to serve us. My food got cold and I got the cocktail sauce instead of tater sauce and burned my mouth up. Thanks I will never come again. Will make sure I tell my friends about this experience too

My husband and I went out in a much needed date night. The food was fabulous and our waiter Zachary H. was so nice. The restaurant was so clean and there was someone walking around making sure things were being done. At least I think that’s what she was doing. I highly recommend this outback at assembly row in Somerville.

Service was slow. Ordered steak quesadilla, which was paper thin with little to no steak. Also very Greasy. Had to ask for extra sauce for the blooming onion because they only gave us a very small plastic container..... had to ask twice and was not delivered to table until our meal arrived.Normally love outback but this is the second time at the one in Somerville and the quality is lacking compared to others.

I would not suggest on going there because the host customer service sucks really bad. We waited for 45 min and never called us and when we decide to go and ask them what’s taking so long and that’s when they told us that on the left side is open table and anyone can sit there. We waisted all this time we were waiting for a sit meanwhile that’s could’ve mentioned to us when we walked in. The hostess should be better and that’s sad they not.
