If you want a quick bite then its a good restuarant to order from. I give the quality of food and presentation an average score. They make the food pretty quick and have a good and attentive staff. There is good parking space near the restaurant . Chow and joy is located along somerville Avenue and its in same lot as

How terribly disappointing the food was. Not asking for Da Dong 大董 level quality, but honestly this was quite literally the most disappointing “Chinese” food I’ve ever had. 宫保鸡丁 Kung Pao Chicken, maybe 4 pieces of chicken. Enough celery to feed a rabbit farm, but barely any meat. Sweet and sour chicken? It was over-breaded chicken tenders. The only thing I can say that tasted ok was the vinegar they gave for the dumplings. Come on, do better than this. $45 bucks for this, what an epic waste of money.

This is the second time I ordered Kung Pao chicken from them. Both times there are enormous amount of celery in the dish than chicken. I have to find pieces of chicken. Sometimes I wonder they should name this dish Kung Pao celery. Paid ~$10 of celery and sauce.

I use to get food from this place on the regular basis, it used to be great. Drove 30 minutes and it was horrible experience. We had sesame beef it was tough and congealed and it tasted like orange sauce. Fried rice hard and no flavor. Teriyaki beef I think they were not cooked long enough and hard to chew. Order minced pork eggplant got minced pork with loaded broccoli (No eggplant at all). It’s a 0/5 bro stop smoking so much when you cook bro. Also the taste of these dishes is 0/5 even in Panda Express standard. Gross.

I don't know much Chinese or Japanese food but I didn't like it. I paid approximately 12 dollars but I regret having bought it, or it was bad because the ingredients were missing because of the movement on 12/24/21

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I just ordered brown rice and a chicken with broccoli. But the rice was good and the chicken not overly sweet.
