So I was at this bakery to pick up a cake for my newborn’s birthday over the weekend. The cake was suppose to be ready at 11.30a but I gave ‘em extra hour just so I don’t have to wait but Guess what, still had to wait another 30min. Procrastination much? On top of that, their credit card machine was down so had to pay $50 bucks in cash. And then, the baker almost misspelled the name of my baby, Really. The cashier lady came back to double check and thank god, we caught the error just in the nick of time. When I confronted the baker about the mishap in jest, the guy said to me, why are you giving me attitude and there’s not much difference between ‘M’ and ‘N’. He kept saying M&M for some weird reason. Imagine having to explain to a baker the difference between the alphabets ‘m’ and ‘n’ in a baby’s name. And I thought, high school diploma was a prerequisite to open any kind of a business? Anyway, so much for patronizing the local businesses and give this guy ‘Michael’ the Darwin Award of the day!
