Best wedding weekend pastries and wedding cake you can buy. Won my wedding party over for the weekend and won me and my husband over for life ❤️ We ordered almost a dozen of everything on the menu ❤️ Thank you for making our special weekend even more perfect ❤️ And thank you even more for going above and beyond and making the diabetics in my the happiest of all. So I was at this bakery to pick up a cake for my newborn’s birthday over the weekend. The cake was suppose to be ready at 11.30a but I gave ‘em extra hour just so I don’t have to wait but Guess what, still had to wait another 30min. Procrastination much? On top of that, their credit card machine was down so had to pay $50 bucks in cash. And then, the baker almost misspelled the name of my baby, Really. The cashier lady came back to double check and thank god, we caught the error just in the nick of time. When I confronted the baker about the mishap in jest, the guy said to me, why are you giving me attitude and there’s not much difference between ‘M’ and ‘N’. He kept saying M&M for some weird reason. Imagine having to explain to a baker the difference between the alphabets ‘m’ and ‘n’ in a baby’s name. And I thought, high school diploma was a prerequisite to open any kind of a business? Anyway, so much for patronizing the local businesses and give this guy ‘Michael’ the Darwin Award of the day!

Real pastries!. This small place is a best kept secret with the best pastries ever! Delicious macaroons, shortcakes, cannoli, eclair, carrot cake, petit fours, frosted cookies, bar cookies, etc. Yes, they do make wonderful cakes, but I usually stop in for a variety of goodies to share with coworkers or friends.<br/>Someone commented on the price. You get what you pay for. This place only uses quality ingredients. You will taste the difference in the first bite. Also, most of the treats are large enough to share. Again, delicious!

Best Little Bakery :). I have gone to this little bakery on quite a few occasions, mostly during my lunch break at work, and would bring back little cake squares for my co-workers as well as bring some home for desert. So far, nothing has been disappointing. My favorite is their little white strawberry shortcake.<br/><br/>On Valentines day, I had pre-ordered some chocolate covered strawberries. Their usual strawberries are dipped in dark chocolate, but I requested mine be dipped on white chocolate and drizzled with milk chocolate. They were excellent and my husband loved them. The strawberries were sweet and large in size. I got a dozen for $9. You can't beat that price. Unlike what the menu states, their strawberries are 75 cents a piece.<br/><br/>If you ever pass Robert Blvd., be sure to stop here.

Awesome! Wonderful! Fantastic! Yummy!. When I opened my business in Slidell, we had a cake made by FOM for the grand opening. It was FANTASTIC! I had so many customers comment on it - and I spread the word on where to go! This place is wonderful - My favorite is the pecan bars with chocolate and honey. YUMMMMM! My hubby now gets a cake for my birthday from here every year!

FOM (Frickin' Outstanding, Man?!). Tue-Fri 9AM-5:30PM, Sat 10AM-2:30PM. Their motto: "From Our Heart To Your Table." Small bakery with incredible European cakes and pastries, made daily by the owner. Very helpful in explaining what the different pastries were. We tried the cream puffs (which my wife was enjoying just a lil too much!), raspberry grandmother cookies, some kinda flaky coconut bar, and what I believe was a chocolate-covered macaroon. Love it!

Delicious. Unique.. These folks are definitely not marketing geniuses but they seem to be getting by because their product (delicious shortcakes with fresh fruit fillings and toppings as well as other great confections) is great. I've had many comment that they thought FOM was their little secret - so hopefully it's working for them.
