The Manager at the place we were staying for Dickens in the Village suggested Blue Water Grill to us for lunch or dinner. We appreciated it. Location is excellent as it has room which is heated in the winter with large windows to look at the massive pier and lake. Bonus is during the holidays you may enjoy the beautiful Xmas tree. As I entered the resturant I was immediately greeted and welcomed by Michelle the hostess. I told her my husband would be in shortly as he was parking the car. She had asked if I'd like to be seated but I decided since she wasn't busy instead ask about what exactly stretch bread was? Seeing it was advertised on the black board. She wasn't sure how to explain it. Either did I at the time. But... I came to the conclusion it's similiar to a bagute. And delicious. It does have a nice sponge to it. And I discovered exactly why the locals eat it as when as their staples. A bakery across the street sells it and of course we brought a loaf back home. Thank you Michelle I enjoyed the welcome to the blue Water Grill and educating me about stretch bread. Our server was excellent professional helpful and immediately served us with cocktail wine and stretch bread. Entrees consisted of the iron steak which was wonderful. Tender steak served with golden smashed potatoes and what? Pimento and feta cheese. Delicious! Ceasars sald was crisp fresh and delicious. My husband entree was the grilled salmon dinner summer squash(which he raved about) and a house salad. I highly reccomend both entrees.

We will definitely be good. I enjoyed the baked Brie and southwest sushi roll. My family enjoyed the burger, curry chicken, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was a little dry but it was a thinner piece of white meat. Everything else, including the regular fries and sweet potato fries, were amazing. We also all enjoyed a couple beers and two great cocktails (a mimosa and a sleigh ride)

One of our favorite places to go every Summer/Fall. We love sitting in the outside area up top in the back looking out over the lake. Fantastic food and atmosphere!!.

The food was awesome, especially the lobster goat cheese salad! The service was excellent, too!

Was surprised I didn’t see any reviews of the English Pub curry. It was terrific! Basically your typical Indian style tikka masala. Mild to slightly spicy. Very creamy mild tomato sauce. Rice and naan were soft and complimented everything nicely. Great choice if you’re interested in something outside the norm.

We love the lobster roll, and the fries are quite good. They can be busy and don't take reservations for parties of less than six. But, they will take your cell phone number when you arrive and text you when your table's ready. This allows you time to visit some of the nearby boutiques, or explore the pier and lakeside park. With all the windows in their dining rooms, it can get pretty warm and stuffy on a sunny day. If available, I recommend a table on the outside patio. The service is excellent. UPDATE: We returned on a Thursday for lunch and, although it was the peak of the tourist season, we were seated at one of the 7 tables on the outdoor patio within 5 minutes. I very much enjoyed the shrimp po' boy tacos with the optional addition of taco chips and pico de gallo. The remoulade sauce on the fried shrimp was an excellent pairing, and the tomato salsa with the chips had a pronounced cilantro aroma and tasted as if it had just been prepared.

Needed a place to grab a bite and kill some time. The wait was over an hour but we took seats at the back bar that had no wait. Service and food were exceptional. Very reasonably priced for a 'touristy' town. Great value. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful ambiance right on Skaneateles Lake. The chicken bites were wonderful and full of flavor from the honey and soy marinade. The brunch burger was also amazing, though these waffles are a bit too much on the sweet side for a savory dish. Still, cooked to order and wonderful all around. I tasted my girlfriend's lobster bisque and it was delicious!
The Bourbon Blackberry cocktail was the only miss of the night. Literally only tasted sour mix. Needs balancing.
