Went for dinner with co-workers. We were seated next to the fireplace. We had impeccable food and service. Loved the ambiance.

My daughter and I decided to take a day trip up here to see how everything looked at Christmas and we were not disappointed. This place was recommended for their Yankee Pot Roast and again not disappointed. Definitely worth every penny. Excellent service too!

Tub was entirely too high to step into unless you were 6 feet tall. No handicap access to rooms. Service and food were excellent, especially the breakfast wait staff!

Just had an amazing lunch at the Sherwood Inn. Everything was perfect and the service was outstanding! Our server, Amber, was amazing and we are so grateful we stopped here for our special holiday lunch! We will definitely be back next year!

We had a romantic dinner by the fireplace in the dining room. Amber was fabulous and the food was outstanding! Always good food, ambience and service.

Only enjoyed both restaurants. Prefer the pub food but like the ambiance on the front porch better. The menu could use an update imo. It’s a little outdated/boring and the quality is not consistent but the lake views will have you going back regardless.

I went for dinner and it was top notch all the way around! Very lively scene, the place was packed at 5:00 on a Sunday evening with live music. I had french onion soup, shrimp cocktail and the delmonico steak with au gratin potatos....all were amazing and so delicious. Beautiful view looking out on Skaneateles lake.

Food was very good!! We were there when it opened at 11:30. The floor in the barroom dining area needed some serious sweeping and Swiffering especially at opening time.

We were a large group of diners who ordered various entrée, snacks and appetisers. Everyone said their dish were perfect and it is amazing how Sherwood got everything down so well. The yankee pot roast and filet mignon were a hit. I had the seared scallops and they were huge and juicy. The servers were super attentive and cheerfully helpful.

Very friendly owner! Campground was clean and quiet. Bathroom were small but good. Too cold to use the pool.
