Jumbo Seafood (jewel Changi Aiport)

Originally wanted to eat at the East Coast branch. However after called, they're quite booked. So we went to check for availability for booking and booked a table for the Jewel one. Food was awesome. Food reached our table quite fast too. The drunken prawns were fresh. Crab is succulent. Love the Trio egg with spinach. Supreme Seafood fried rice was just okay I feel (but many tables order it). With disposable glove, and apron. Service wise, I understand it's dinner service and they could be a little busy. They forgot my drink. Until I finished my meal then they got me my drink. But nonetheless, it's commendable. Total bill amounted to around $431 after tax.

definitely too pricey, 6 bamboo clams for $100 and the 2.2kg crab was around $200+~ which i found to be too exorbitant considering you can definitely get the same quality of food at a cheaper price at many other establishments. no doubt taste was good though, meats were fresh. the service was good (served by Tina) and a comfortable environment. Asparagus and spinach were average

I do visit the ECP branch more often but it wasn’t available for lunch. While the food was generally ok, they didn’t have the bamboo clams which we wanted. It was still CNY and jumbo members got to enjoy free yu sheng which was a nice touch. The black pepper crabs had a strong yellow margarine or planta taste. Chilli crab sauce with mini fried flat Mantous was interesting so you don’t mess up your light coloured top. The main issue was the manpower. They were severely understaffed. Our tea was not topped up, our plates were not changed in time. Since it’s difficult to hire staff, I highly suggest that the staff just place clean plates at the side for customers to change on our own because we felt so abandoned and neglected from the lack of service. Other than that, this would have been a much better experience and more consistent with the ECP experience.

Due to inflation, food prices have risen significantly… especially on this award winning chilli mud crab 🦀. I was told that this mud crab weighed about 1kg. From what I see, it is roughly 800g only according to its size. The price is $108! Most expensive crab on the table. Most disappointed is their cod fish wok fried with Chef’s special spicy sauce. The standard has dropped tremendously. Not as good as before. Deep fried mini buns and their home made vegetable beancurd still remain their standard though. But luckily, I am the airport staff working at airport, so I managed to received 10% discount out of my total bill. So overall rating, I would give 4 stars out of 5 instead due to the above reasons.

Food was good and service was ok too. Slightly pricey for the food but thats JUMBO afterall. Will consider coming back when im craving for their seafood! Edit: Went back to eat as i was craving for crab and had a pleasant experience, though i wished i ordered a slightly bigger crab. Nevertheless, the crab was very fresh and meaty and i enjoyed their black pepper flavour which was spicy enough. The rest of the dishes were good too! They are having some promotion for their crab so be sure to check it out! Giving the last star as their service earned it. Editedit: visited the outlet again and super happy with all the dishes!!
