When you mention People’s Park Hawker's Yong Tau Foo most would think you are referring to Yong Xiang Xing, the no frills bowl of yong tau foo soup that comes with a mixed trio of fried bean curd, simmered bean curd both with toppings, and the very delicious fried fish ngo hiang. Along with of course, only starting at 12pm with a hour long queue and sell out daily by about 2pm. There's another stall near the end of the same row with it own shorter queue and a somewhat similar but different take of the yong tau foo offerings. I had the chance for a takeaway this morning, aside the bowl of yong tau foo in soup, it came with a box of either mee pok or mee kia ta, fried anchovies toppings and some veg. The Noodles were a little dry when I got home, no matter toss in a little hot soup and the Al dente noodles came alive. The anchovies based soup is as umami packed as Yong Xiang Xing's, also with a nice hint of shallot oils and green onion amped up. Though not as oily as Yong Xiang Xing's, as their yong tau foo had been simmering in th broth as you order. Thus lost a little texture and bite on the fried pieces as compared to Yong Xiang Xing's but no less flavourful. Also their Yong Tau Foo's fillings are pure fish paste unlike those with pork and other fillings mixed in, thus its cleaner in taste and smoother. So for a lighter Yong Tau Foo soup bowl Poy Kee is a good alternative. Also a shorter queue. Jan 2022 Update As usual same old team of four seniors. Same old great taste of ikan bilis soup with shallot oil, and surimi yong tau foo. No queue at 130pm. Value comfort food. Extra chilli on the Noodles is the bomb. Fried ikan bilis can be a little salty, just leave them out. Check out the new pics

The noodles tasted good. For $4, there are 7 pieces of Yong Tau Fu prepared in the traditional way. The soup is clear, nice and not salty. Price and size is reasonable. Will return to the stall again.

Poy Kee Yong Tau Foo 培记酿豆腐 📍32 New Market Road, #01-1066 People’s Park Cooked Food Centre, Singapore 050032 Comforting bowl of Yong Tau Fu with meekia dry at affordable price of $5. It came with an assortment of fish balls, white tofu, fried tofu and ngoh hiang with a bowl of springy noodles topped generously with fried ikan bilis. The crunch and fragrance from the ikan bilis complimented the noodles amazingly well. The clear soup was packed with natural sweetness. Among the ytf, I had to say the ngoh hiang was my favourite. Don't forget the sweet sauce and chilli sauce to pair with the food. Definitely can eat!

Anchovies with noodle taste good. So sign of floating oil on soup and it taste good. See few customers bring their own container to buy just the soup. Not very long queue during dinner time.

People’s Park Food Centre are blessed with many stalls selling good yong tau fu, at least I have 3 of my fav YTF stalls here. But from those 3, poy kee are my fave, their YTF are tasty, comes with mee kia (you can choose other noodles too, I just like mee kia), and shorter queue comparing to the most popular one. Note: if you new here, you must know that you can’t choose what you want in your YTF, they already have standard sets, you only choose wether you want it with noodles or not.

Shorter queue at this stall as compared to the other popular one in the same hawker centre. The yong tau fu is still as tasty. Soup wise, I prefer the other

Yong Tau Foo ($5 for medium) - Enjoyed the tofu, the fish paste, the soup, and the noodles. There were 10 pieces. No choice of pieces.

I find the YTF here to be just average. Soup is tasty and also no queue but still not enough to attract me back. Perhaps I am biased as I am a Hakka YTF fan so it may be good enough to you.
