Recently refreshed. I was a Nasai regular when I was at the UW, but have always known it as cheap, ok, and a little dingy. Last time I was in there, I'm happy to report that they've giving a clean, it's lighter inside, and the food has actually gone up in quality. The nasai special will put you back about $6-7, and will fill you up.
Awesome food! Great chicken teriyaki! Coming back
I've had chicken teriyaki all over town and every time I think the same thing: "Dang, it's not as good as Nasai Teriyaki". These folks are just the best. Every time I go in I look at the menu of all the other good things and I still order the chicken teriyaki, and enjoy it. The building itself is a dump, which is why the prices are so reasonable. I love sitting in the front window and watching the world walk by. A local treasure.
Went here after a different teriyaki on the Ave disappointed me for the last time. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and portions were good. The food was fresh, salad dressing was tasty, and they were generous with the rice. The inside is a bit dim, but it was clean and comfortable and quiet. I will definitely be back.
This is a classic spot for teriyaki in the u-district. They have a rotating lunch special that will save you a couple dollars if you want something more than a chicken teriyaki.
I finally made it to one of those world famous "Seattle" teriyaki houses and I can see why they're so great. Hearty, wholesome food that can be as flavorful and fun as you want it to be. DELICIOUS chicken teriyaki and their menu has plenty of options. Just the kind of simple, cheap eats I like to indulge in. Great vibe here too, very old school and original.
Nasai is one of my favorite teriyaki places in Seattle. I’m a big fun of their chicken teriyaki lunch special; generous portions at a reasonable price.
