This is the very best best best best place on earth.
One of my favorite places on Capitol Hill and in Seattle. I've been here many times with friends, and we have always received good treatment from the staff. The fish and chips may be the best in the city, and the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw is just as good. The price point is solid, and there are plenty of adult beverages for the folks that imbibe.
Came here before we went to go see a comedian perform. The staff were excellent and the food was great! If I come again I would definitely op for fries as a side. The vibes were really good and the Bait Shop had a very friendly atmosphere! We got a Fried Chicken Sandwich and Fish and Chips and both were amazing, the fish and chips are not British style for those who care about that.
I called the Bait Shop because I have allergies to shellfish and soy and the staff were very helpful on the phone checking with the kitchen, soy and shellfish free! When we arrived we were seated quickly our server was so kind, I cannot rave enough about their excellent costumer service. Our food came quite quickly and was absolutely delicious, my fish and chip basket had a few chips that were too crunchy to eat but that won’t deter us from visiting again. Thanks Bait Shop for the great vibe, food, and service.
Probably my favorite spot on the hill no it definitely is. It’s subject but for me . The service is kind and not too cool for school but they are cool. The food is quite good and it feels comfy. Probably gets crowded at peak times but I typically arrive early or late
take out fish and chips plus a side of chicken. fish and chicken traveled well (to volunteer park, so not that far) not so much the fries (it’s difficult, i know! especially with this style of fry). i like a beer batter so i liked the fish, the chicken too. 4.5 for the fish, 4 for the chicken, meh for the fries. i’m ok with the portions and i’m a big eater.
One of the best bars in town. My favorite French fries hands down. The employees are always kind. Bartenders pour good drinks. Can't say enough good things about bait shop
Love bait shop. It's a dive, but they have great food and good drinks. The dog on the front of the menu is adorable.
As of May 2022, still checking vax cards , which is nice.
