One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Staff are super friendly and the drinks are quality. The shop has a nice, relaxed, quiet feel, always very calming. Great place to hang out and enjoy some great espresso or tea.
Solid, quiet coffee shop serving up Sight Glass beans out of San Francisco. Sure, they're not local beans, they then, they're top notch and something a little different.
The seating area has a bit more of an industrial feel than most shops, featuring high top shared tables with stool seating for about 8 at each of the three tables, with some more conventional seating up front. There's a window counter, as well as a few chairs outdoors.
Prices are in-line with others on the hill and quality is what you'd expect from a Seattle coffee shop: tasty. They also offer soda with macchiatos, which I always take as a good sign from a serious coffee shop.
All in all, a good place for a quiet cuppa.
My favorite coffee shop - first time in there I told them their coffee is world class...one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. They carry Mighty O donuts - if you don't know about these and appreciate donuts...you've got an awakening coming. As other posters have pointed out, prices are a bit on the high side, but this is not a value/discount place. Every morning I have one of their cups with a Mighty O and I'm willing to pay a few extra cents to start off my day with this bliss. Oh - dog friendly and they have free Mud Bay treats by the front door. My dog won't let me walk by without stopping in for one. Great atmosphere, too. (I am not affiliated with them in any way, in case this glowing review seems a bit enthusiastic.)
Great coffee. Their Borgia orange zest mocha is amazing! Love the atmosphere. I always feel like they hijacked my Pandora station list (ie The Decembrists, Wheezer, The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the like). Bonus for me it's in Capitol Hill but still fairly close to downtown.
White walls, high ceiling, minimalist atmosphere, plenty of light, no BS. Great place, great coffee, and thank the good Lord they thought to install electrical sockets by every table (a must for people like me who need to study with a laptop). Drip coffee gets free refills. Also, they have Mighty O donuts. 'Nuff said!
I really like this place. It's kind of industrial inside which is so different than what you usually see in Seattle. Everything in thr interior has this minimalist feel to it. The staff has is always nice. If you are a student and looking for a quiet place to study this place never gets too crowded (although I expect that to change since there are so many new aprtments/condos being built in the area).
I love this little coffee shop, though I wish they would add a big rug to tone down the sound a little bit. I LOVE the owner, he is extremely nice, that means a lot to me as a small business owner myself, so I am loyal :)
One of the best from over a dozen places we've visited on our trip to Seattle! Well done! Amazing baristas and top notch coffee!
A nice spot to get good coffee or some nice loose leaf tea. Decent pastry options too.
A nice local coffee shop. A little pricey, but a solid choice.
