This is a small restaurant where the owner is also the chef/ cook. My mom, sister, and I stopped here for lunch on our first day of a five-day visit to Seattle because it was in the same neighborhood as our VRBO and it had high Google reviews. The food was AMAZING. We all overate a little too much because we couldn't stop picking at things. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
My chicken shawarma was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender. The gyro, fattoush, baba ganoush, and Greek fries were also incredible. I only took one pic because I was too busy eating. 😂🤤
I spent my summers as a kid in Egypt. You can imagine how sometimes I crave some authentic middle eastern/north African cuisine.
This little gem is an absolute hit. I’ve never had more authentic flavors then Al Manqal (BBQ in Arabic). For those of you who don’t know, they serve a very famous lamb dish. But don’t worry, everything on the menu is very tasty. This restaurant is awesome for those who want to try middle eastern food or people who want to rekindle the flavors of nostalgia.
Kudos and Mabrook to the owner!
My girlfriend is Lebanese so we eat this food all over the country. It was a great experience! The gentleman working the counter explained everything and was patient and gave me good recommendations. The food is flavorful and authentic and I felt great after eating it. It was timely and delicious. I comfortably ate inside. I appreciated the experience and will return again soon. I like Almanqal compared to other like-restaurants in the area (we’ve tried most of them). Fair value for good quality food!
💚 Another place to visit and have delicious food !!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 We ordered a family meal for 4 persons which included Chicken Kebab 2 Skewers (my favorite) chicken was juicy yummy 😋😋😋😋 Koha Kebab 2 Skewers, 41 tNebab 1 Skewer, Beef Kebab 1 Skewer & 3 appetizers with rice which by the way was by far one of the most out of this world delishhhhhhh-ousssss!!!! absolutely so tasty. 💯 Oh my, I almost forgot the fresh pita bread!!!! And the salads too💚 A lot of food in that family meal and worth every penny. It is a small restaurant and we were there around 4 in the afternoon, it started getting busy so I suggest you check their times. Customer service is wonderful and of course be advised that we will definitely be back again and again until I finish that delicious rice !!!! 😉😉😉😉💚.
First time ordering food (phone call- to go) from here after reading all the positive reviews in Google. I wish next time if you are taking phone orders please provide options to customize the lettuce and other toppings?!! the lady staff who took the order didn’t provide sufficient information.
Falafel wrap was yummy. Lamb wrap had too many lettuce and very less meat. Chicken wrap had descent meat in it. Good wraps. Lamb meat taste was OKAY! Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
PS- the hot sauce was yummy 🤤 real spice and good taste. $30 for 3 wraps, mmmm worth a try.
Got a gyro combo. The fries are perfectly cooked, as is the lamb. The veggies are juicy and crunchy. The garlic dip is delicious, as are the hot sauce and tatziki sauce. The man at the counter/grill is kind and welcoming. It feels like walking into a second home and the food is definitely worth the price (18 for the one I got with fries and drink). I now plan on dragging friends and family here at every opportunity.
My second time at this restaurant.
The food is delicious and the owner and staff are very nice.
Highly recommend the kabab chicken or beef. (Kofta)
The bread is also made fresh and hot very delicious

I've called Seattle home for nearly three decades, and I just had to share my love for Almanqal Mediterranean restaurant and its talented chef, Haqi.
In a nutshell, this place is extraordinary. After trying lamb, beef, and chicken dishes all around town, I can confidently say that Almanqal is in a league of its own. The flavors are simply incredible, and the meats are exceptionally tender. If you're a fan of lamb, beef, or chicken, you absolutely must pay them a visit.
Their lentil soup is a warm hug in a bowl, and the Lamb Shank is a culinary masterpiece that practically melts in your mouth.
Almanqal is now my go-to spot for forever. If you're in search of a fantastic Mediterranean meal, look no further. This place is a hidden Seattle treasure that you need to experience. Don't miss out!
A great place to enjoy Turkish dinner with friends. It’s a small place so keep it below 8 people and do well to make a reservation. It seems to be a popular place. Easily accessible with bus 62 from downtown Seattle.
They served an unlimited supply of Turkish bread and my pals enjoyed the Turkish gin which you can mix with water apparently. Server was very polite and understanding.
This is some of the best lamb I have ever tasted in Seattle. Found this gem while strolling 45th one day--so happy I did. Owner is super friendly and a fantastic chef! Will be back many times!
