I have been here a couple of times and I like this place. I liked their blueberry scope and the croissants and recommend them. We also tried the bagel with creme cheese and salmon which was good as well. My wife tried the sausage and kale strata which was nice as well. I liked the bagel and salmon better.
Ordered a number of pastries--the scone, raspberry biscuit, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant. The biscuit was the favorite but all of them were yummy. The scone was nice to tear and dip into the jam center. The coffee (two oat lattes) were okay but the beans were a bit bitter. May just depend on your taste!
We got the espresso shot and the cinnamon roll, and it was amazing. We ended up buying a second roll because it was so good.

I was so excited to finally try the famous Macrina Bakery! What a treat! We stopped in to the Queen Anne location for a little bite and a coffee. The shop is warm and welcoming, and the coffee and pastries are delicious-as expected! We each had a Chicken Pot Pie with a decadent crust and we shared a piece of Lemon Cake with our lattes. It was perfect lunch before house hunting. Will definitely be back!
Excellent loaves of bread—would be perfect for avo toast. All of the baked items are also delicious, especially the roly poly.
*Update: The Pecan Sticky Bun is TO DIE FOR! Wonderful bread with enough topping to really hit that sweet spot and a huge amount of pecans for that wonderful crunch. Bravo!
The sliced whole wheat cider loaf is amazing! Wholesome bread.
Of all the Macrina locations, this one is my favorite. Love the baked goods, prepared meals, the neighborhood feel and seating area, and the open air seating when the weather is nice.
The breads, pastries, and recently sourdough bagels, are fantastic. I usually get their morning roll, a jam biscuit, and/or a ham and cheese brioche. If you are lucky and early enough, definitely try their brioche egg sandwich. 👌
There are often lines to get in these days with social distancing going on, but it’s good to know the staff is trying to keep folks safe. I only wish they would update their checkout to offer a contactless payment option. Pretty please? 🙏
Great latte, delicious cherry scone, nice calm vibe! I thought they would call my name when my coffee was ready, but I went up after a while and it was there waiting for me. It's possible that I didn't hear, but it was a quiet place and I was listening for a name. Either way, it was a pleasant experience.
Love this neighborhood coffee shop and bakery. Always buzzing and always tasty. Great coffee, bread and baked treats.
Amazing place for a quick coffee, big breakfast, brunch and maybe a lunch as well. Everything is delicious! Very pleasant vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service could be a little more organized on the gap between the order and the cashier but it’s not a big deal.
