I visited Delfino’s with my friends last weekend to try deep dish pizza. I didn’t know they had stuffed pizza too. I tried both of them and they were good. I ordered small size for the both deep dish and stuffed pizza. Trust me small is also more than a medium. We couldn’t finish a lot of it. Overall this place is good, located in a nice spot. Only downside is if you are planning to dine in like us then be ready for some wait time during peak hours.

I’ve had deep dish pizza in Chicago, and this was just as delicious. Be sure to order the “stuffed” pizza if you’re looking for the Chicago deep dish style of pizza. The pizza does take 30-35 min to cook, so I highly recommend calling in advance and ordering your pizza 25 min before you arrive. We ordered the small pizza and it was a lot for the two of us. So I suggest the small pizza is for 4 people and the mini is great for 2 people. The seating is decent inside and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall the taste of the pizza was delicious and authentic. And the vicinity was comfortable and well looked after. The staff were amazing and provided a great service. Highly recommend and will come again.

As a pizza snob, I can safely assure you this is the best pizza I have had in the past 10 years in the west coast. Get the delfinos special, no onions, deep dish not stuffed, and unconventionally no sauce, or light sauce, and enjoy this beauty. Word of advice, order ahead, it takes a while for it to get ready, but thats how deep dish pizza is, it’s not their fault. The people here are amazing! Always nice and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. A former Chi Town resident, I went searching this weekend for a legit deep-dish pizza. After some research, looking at the local competition, and reviewing the pics online from customers, I decided to try this establishment out. A 1.5 hr. drive just to get there, I was hoping for the best, but potentially expecting the worst. The following just pertains to my take out order. The restaurant is located within an outdoor mall. I didn't search for long before I found a free parking spot. I liked how the menu was located outside in case there was a long line. Also liked how there was outside, as well as inside seating. Although there were many customers eating inside, I was promptly greeting and quickly able to place my order. I did ask about the difference between the deep dish and stuffed pizzas. If you're looking for the classic chi town version, remember to order the stuffed version. I was given clear expectations on the bake time of 30 to 40 min. Made sense considering thickness. I didn't take the complaints on the review section regarding this seriously because I'm familiar with the process from other similar businesses. I went walking around to explore for a bit, and returned to pick up my order; which was completed ahead of time. Cost for my 12" stuffed classic pie with spinach was $39.91.Yes, pricey for 1 pizza, but keeping in mind that prices everywhere have gone up. It's not unusual to see this, and I'd say, based on experience, is competitive with other places I looked at prior to deciding on coming here. Drove the 1.5 hr. back, opened the box, and was impressed with the visual. Beautiful color and warm smell. Cut a piece out and warmed it up. At 30 seconds it held together very well; did not fall apart. Taste, wow. Sauce is fresh and not over powering. Spinach and cheese were nicely layered. Crust isn't oily and greasy. Overall, very impressed! Due to costs, I wouldn't necessarily dine here every weekend, but I could certainly see returning in the future to try another pie or dish. Well worth the trip, and again, pleasantly surprised. Job well done!

I was craving some deep dish and decided to come here. Overall I was satisfied with the meal, and it was the first time in a while I haven't been able to finish a pie by myself. Service was friendly but he wasn't very experienced. I ordered the chicken bites because I knew the pizza would take a while, and they were decent but not overly special. As far as the deep dish pepperoni and sausage: Crust: 4/5 - thickness was good and was cooked well, but it wasn't the buttery texture I was hoping for. It was a good crust, but just a thicker version of a standard dough. Sauce: 5/5 - had great flavor, nice tomato tang without being too acidic, and was just the right amount. Toppings: 5/5 - good amount of meats, and the cheese was quite delicious. Preparation: 5/5 - nice even pie, topped and cooked well. I might come back to try some of their other styles (such as stuffed) but I'm still on the hunt for that flaky buttery Chicago style crust.

They have great pizza here, and there is usually no weight. The service is so-so, but it makes up for it with great tasting pizza. This is a great place to have a reasonably priced meal. A small traditional crust. Pizza is enough for two people to share. I have had top-notch deep dish, pizza in Chicago, and nothing appears to that, but this comes close. If you do want to order a deep dish, plan to wait 45 minutes for your pie to be done. But all of the crust styles are very good.

For deep dish pizza in Chicago, my gold standard is Giordano's.... The pizza here at Delfino's is better than any other deep dish pizza I've ever had! I honestly didn't expect to be this impressed, and I wish I'd known sooner just how good this pizza would be. I'll definitely come back for more!

We travelled up from Tacoma on the hunt for a good Chicago style pizza. It was worth the trip. The pies were dense, tasty and generous in portions. A medium pizza can easily feed three hungry people. We ordered three... Happy to have the leftovers. Started with garden salads that were fresh, crisp and just the right amount of dressing, then on to stuffed mushrooms, again fresh and flavorful. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for a good stuffed pie.

I. Love. Deep. Dish. Pizza. My wife--not so much. But this is my review, so who cares. Who else is sick of the artisan thin-crusted pizza with argula and prosciutto? THIS GUY. Give me a Chicago-style pizza overflowing with cheese and marinara anyday. Now, sure, if you were to compare this with deep dish in Chicago, it may fall short, or even way short. But hey, beggers can't be choosers, right? Until a new deep dish pizza joint appears, I will suggest to my wife every meal to come here. Whether or not I win that fight, will be another story...

It's good if you don't mind waiting. It is stellar, not really. If you are a fan of Uno's or Gino's you might be a little disappointed. I know the review sounds harsh. Don't get me wrong it is good. Just don't expect to be blown away.
