Really good brew! I tried the sampler and an IPA that was not part of the sampler as well. The beers were the thirst quencher needed for the hottest day of the year, last Sunday, after watching the pride parade in downtown Seattle. I had the Puget Sound clam and mussel in spicy coconut sauce and they were thoroughly enjoyable as well.
This place was fantastic! I have never gotten my food so quickly after ordering, and the batter for the fish and chips was perfect. Our server, Anthony, was on top of everything. He was friendly, funny and never lingered too long. One of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in awhile.

DO: Sit back, relax and have a quick bite, a drink and rest your feet before going back "out there" to the hustle and bustle of the market.
DO: Go during Happy Hour because the price is right. I recommend the Burger and A double well drink ( it can be rough "out there!"! )

Best breakfast in town!. After being put off by the lines at the crumpet shop, my husband and I wandered into this restaurant in search of sustenance. The place is simple and unpretentious, full of old-fashioned booths, bustling servers, and old men reading the paper over breakfast. Imagine my surprise when I was served the best chicken fried steak I've ever had in my life! I can't speak to the dinner menu or service, but the breakfast was amazing. My husband was equally pleased with his steak and eggs, and our coffee cups were never empty. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the price tag was just right. If you're looking for excellent greasy-spoon American comfort food, these guys really do it right. We have come back again and again, and never been disappointed.
As for how my experience squares up with other reviews, I can only come up with two possibilities to explain it. Either the whole restaurant is somehow taken over at noon by gremlins who do the exact opposite of everything that the morning staff does, or the negative reviews are from locals who are trying to keep the tourists away from their favorite spot. Sorry if I'm letting the cat out of the bag, guys! This is the best breakfast in town, and I don't mind saying it. We will be coming back for another hearty meal next time we're in town!
Surprised to see so many bad reviews. I loved this place, the decor, beer and food were great when I visited Seattle. I'm surprised by all the bad reviews, I guess they have off nights, or nights when it is too busy. I think I spent an hour in here just reading all the beer ads. I ate here with my wife and mother in law and we all had a blast!... I guess read some other reviews and see what times and food items to avoid. Next time I re-visit seattle this place is number one on my list.
Cool bar, we sat at the bar on both visits. Great staff and friendly owner who was very generous in his recommendations for Seattle things to experience as visitors to the city. Bike jerseys for sale are cool as well. Enjoyed the beer & lamb chops for dinner (the broccoli was delicious!).
I liked it. Our service was friendly, left needing for not. Awesome view down on the market. Two planters punches and I'm a little faced, better halfs bloody mary was a little light on booze but had lots of vegis. Liked the popcorn shrimp, calamari was ok. Chicken tenders were real breast meat. For a tourist stop and a sit down it was good.

Awesome, awesome place to eat! I hit this bar up all the time when I come to visit Pike Place Market! The place just acquired new owners, and the new employees are beaming with radiance and amazing customer service! The seafood is FRESH-what else can you expect from Seattle? The drinks are amazing! The customer service is FANTASTIC! Shannah was amazing catering to my table! I will come here again!
Great bar and restaurant with great food. I didn't get pictures of my other food but we had the clam chowder which was delicious along with crab cakes. They weren't Ruth's Chris but were decent. We came back the next day for brunch and had a breakfast burrito and the yogurt parfait and both were good. Drinks are strong, this spicy margarita was on point.

My kid and I visited Pike Place Bar & Grill after spending all day at Pax West. Our server treated us VERY well. The food was great. I loved the warm interior and I loved the view. I love pubs. But my beer was warm. So they got me a second one of a different variety and it was warm too. Warm beer is an automatic one-star deduction. And the bathrooms. Atrocious. You literally had to leave the restaurant and go out into the hallway of the main building to use the restroom. Somebody must walk you there and unlock the door. My kid had to use it. I didn't feel comfortable having him walk out of the restaurant so I walked out there with him. While he was in there, then unlocked the door and let somebody else in. I said to the lady, "My kid is in there." But she ignored me and let the guy in anyway. Fortunately my kid came out right at that point otherwise he would've been locked in there with some stranger. The bathroom was very dirty. The stall door is only about four feet at its highest point so you can look right over it. The bathrooms are a serious buzzkill.
I was lucky to have the breakfast burrito from this restaurant / bar. It was delicious. I would recommend if you wanted a nice breakfast to start the day. The service was great and the atmosphere was good. The establishment is in need of a make over but other than that I will definitely be back in the future.
Where else can you get a $12 Burger and a $4 well drink in this part of town? Awesome locals spot in the winter, great menu and prices, great wait staff and a view of the market. It's a gem. Reminds me of life in the 1990's. Food is excellent.
Also,.it's a quiet place to hang out and actually talk, which I love.
Robbie rocks! My Gordy Big boy burger was excellent and the pickley pear drink was wonderful. Now the local beer Rainier was on point ( aka Blue Moon like) very light and refresh. My boyfriend loved the seafood pasta and a local raspberry cider.
After taking in the history and views of the marketplace and the original Starbucks, it qas time to eat.
Pike Place Bar and Grill fit the bill nicely.

Food and atmosphere was amazing, my booth had the perfect view of the markets lights. The bread bowl was to die for and I loved the chowder it was fresh with a slightly sweet taste. Definitely going to come back
Stopped here after the market to get some dinner. Jeronimo our server was the best. I had the Mac & Cheese w/ bacon and it was sooo good. Loved the vibes and our service was great. Good food all around and so accommodating.
