"The greatest place on earth, the Brooklyn" -my husband Beyond delicious food. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My husband and I have eaten there numerous times and we've never been disappointed. We like to try something different each time, (we've had just about everything on the menu) and every time we are more than pleased with our meals. The food is always fresh. Our steaks have never been short of perfect. The fish, lamb, pasta, veggies, everything is cooked to perfection and couldn't taste better. The staff is very polite, professional, friendly and a few of them are quite funny as well. I was also impressed with their knowledge about the food. All the staff can tell you what ingredients are in what foods, different temperatures meats are cooked at, what waters the different fish and oysters come from. They really know it all! If you have any questions about drinks they not only give you suggestions they tell you why. The staff also dresses the part. All the different drinks my friends, family and myself have tried including beer, wine and mixed drinks have always amazed us with the freshness and selection. The restaurant, including the bathrooms have always been kept super clean. The Brooklyn is a little pricy but very worth it! There is also valet parking that is very convenient. I highly suggest the Brooklyn!

A local recommended this place for Oysters while we were visiting. Wow! Are we glad we listened. Delicious food and amazing experience. Sit at the Chef’s Counter and it will feel like you’re getting a private show. Enjoy the smells and sounds from the kitchen while watching the skilled chefs work. We started with a couple of their popular cocktails, and for an appetizer their fresh oyster sampler. We literally could of just eaten their oysters all night. The Northwestern Bouillabaisse is the best I’ve ever had! The crab risotto cake buried under the mound of prawns, mussels, clams and fish was delish. For dessert we had the rye whiskey sampler of which the Rittenhouse was my favorite.

Fantastic service and very, very good food! We had a reservation about 45 minutes before close, but no one rushed us. They were fantastic, the oysters we're great and every sampler came with a guide. We loved the dessert wine sampler, the oyster sampler - and the chowder was phenomenal.

Top notch food and service with excellent portions. Consistently the best place in Seattle for steak and seafood and awesome desserts. The rib eye is huge and cooked perfectly. The wedge salad is my favorite along with their key lime pie and creme brulee! Great place to dine before a show or concert. Sit at the chef's counter to see everything running smoothly.

Wow! Amazing dinner. They made it in front of me. True artists. Taste was exquisite. Even the Ceasar salad was fantastic. A must try. Bucket list restaurant.

This is a very fancy place to dine. Based on the prices of the food you really are paying for a fancy place to dine out at and this should be considered for that 'special occasion' kind of thing. The atmosphere of this place was rather relaxing. The lighting was not too bright or too dark and made the place quite humbling in a way. The staff are all organized with their appearance and look very clean and well put together. Tables had clean white cloths laid out with proper silverware [5/5]. The quality of the food had its moments. Ordered the appetizer of calamari which was sauteed and cooked all the way through so it was very good. Ceasar salad was well seasoned but the dressing was really rich for some reason. The wild Alaskan salmon was cooked all the way through and served well with the mushrooms and potatoes. However, I personally prefer some crunch and the outside to be golden brown. As for the desserts, lemon keyline pie was rich in flavor but still very good. [4/5] The presentation of the food was above and beyond. The chefs take that extra time to make sure the food is served to perfection [5/5]. Lastly, service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and informative with presenting the menu and answering any questions. She was consistent with refills on beverages and cleaning the table when plates were finished. One thing that really stuck out to me was when the fila mignon was served at the table she asked to cut down the middle to make sure it was cooked correctly (which it was) [5/5]. Overall, very good place to dine and highly recommend it.

Stopped in for a happy hour and was very impressed. The bar has an art deco retro vibe which works for it. They had great seafood appetizers and oysters. $2/oyster is a great price for Seattle. I had some local beers and my wife had Martinis. Both were great. Would definitely go back.

Tremendously wonderful food... oysters were truly fantastic, as were the scallops. The lamb was perfect ! Management is really stellar... quickly rectified a problem with the dessert when they recognized it. Service and overall experience was recovered and we left thinking dinner was one of the best we've had!

The building caught my eye because I have a 10 year old daughter that shares the name Brooklyn. So I walked across the street to take a picture. Then I thought well I’m already here I might as well have a drink. I walked in and was immediately greeted and she gave me options on where to sit. I picked the bar seating in front of the chef. As she walked me through the restaurant we came up to these very large back leather chairs that were the barstools. Very unique. I ordered a drink and decided to get an oyster sampler as well. The drink “the Brooklyn mule” (I mean I had too) was fantastic and obviously the oysters where fresh and amazing. They had this green apple kinda frozen dish that you were to use to cleanse you pallet between oysters. I really have to find out what that was! Great place! Incredible atmosphere and would love to know more history on the business and building as it looks to have been there a long time. Great find!
