Kane's Donuts

While visiting the area I heard of how great Kate's Donuts are, so I decided to take the long way home in order to stop and experience them. Best decision ever! Lots of options to order, including in person. There was a big selection and we even tried (and enjoyed) the gluten free options. Staff were helpful and we received our order quickly. You will spend a few bucks but it's worth every bite of these gems!

It is wonderful to find a donut shop that not only offers gluten-free donuts, but a variety of them! Since I had not eaten a donut in a while, I ordered 1/2 a dozen to get a good sense of what Kane's had to offer the gluten-free community. The Chocolate Glazed and Frosted Chocolate were cakey, but will be fantastic with a glass of milk. The Blueberry Blast donut was lovely, though the icing was a little too much for me. It made it kind of taste like a pop tart. The regular Glazed and Pumkin Spice were enjoyable and would be great with coffee. Finally, the Jelly Filled donut was my personal favorite. It had the right amount of jelly to donut ratio for me. Overall, I was very happy-go-lucky with my taste test! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They replaced their gloves when I requested gluten-free donuts, which I appreciated. When I could not get decaf coffee as it was out, they easily took it off the total. If you are interested in gluten-free donuts, I highly recommend giving Kane's a try!

ABOVE AND BEYOND! I was the biggest idiot and placed a special order to the wrong location. The woman on the phone in Saugus and Katie the manager in Boston were SO HELPFUL. They were kind and patient in dealing with my idiocy and even remade my custom order at the nearest location. Truly made my entire day and saved my event so I truly cannot thank them all enough for their hard work and kindness. And yes everyone demolished all the donuts!!

I am not a big fan of donuts. But, i gotta say these were the most delicious donuts I've ever had. My daughter surprised my husband and i with these beautiful, colorful and delicious donuts for breakfast. Omg! The dough is fresh, the specialty combination are delicious. I will definitely be coming by to choose my own flavors.
