Ionie Organic Vegan Raw Food Cafe

My new very favorite place to have lunch! I have the Gyro Falafel every time, because I dream of it. It’s delicious, filling, but you don’t feel stuffed and NO digestive issues… The staff are incredibly friendly, Ann’s knowledgeable,and Ionie is a gem. This place is beautiful and inviting; you leave feeling like you had a tummy spa day. I highly recommend it.

The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Tostada, the Pancakes, and the falafel gyro! The fall pumpkin pancakes were so good we ordered two. The ambience is really bright and the tiny garden is beautiful. The owner is really kind and the staff was really patient. For those that are raw vegan and have been looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend this place!

We drove an hour from Tampa to try this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth the drive. We got the Thai noodles- WOW!!! We got the Taco Salad-WOW!!! For dessert we got the brownie and the blueberry lemon basil cheesecake-WOW!!!! Everything was divinely delicious and the service was very warm and friendly. We enjoyed our meal so much we got the Italian pizza to go, and WOW!!! we also got the strawberry cheesecake to go, and WOW!!! Highly recommended for high quality raw vegan food. We also will be driving back to try more dishes 😃😋

Ionie's is the best raw vegan restaurant in Sarasota. This place has only gotten better over the years and the new location across from Whole Foods is intimate yet spacious and the food is always fresh. The staff, including Ionie, gets up often just after midnight to begin their spectacular food prep. I believe I photographed almost everything on the menu, but you can't go wrong no matter what did you choose. As a vegan cookbook author who has had the great fortune of a publisher paying for my meals on book tour all over the US and Canada, I've had many recipes to taste, and these are some of the best imho.

I got the falafel wrap and hibiscus tea. You get a thoughtful amount of food for the price. I enjoyed both items and would order again. Also it started pouring down outside and a women who worked here invited a couple with puppies to come in “you can’t stay out here come on in”. Great people and environment to be around.

Delicious wonderful dishes! Creative Menu, Great location, Gracious Accommodating Staff, Amazing chef, Bright sunny welcoming ambiance! This was my first visit and I will be BACK! I eat plant based and wanted to try it out for a special celebration lunch; my lunch friend is an omnivore and she enjoyed it as much as I did. I have a chronic health condition so I needed some detailed information about ingredients. The staff were so helpful with these requests! The food was delicious with surprising delightful touches. I especially enjoyed the latte and they had a pesto to die for! Of course all the food is incredibly healthy, but to find it all so delightful was awesome! Kitty corner from the downtown Whole Foods ( I used the parking across the street) - location was perfect! Great spot for brunch or lunch with friends!

The best restaurant I’ve been to in Florida, hands up! 🙌 I love when vegan raw is done right, and you don’t miss a thing, just feel nourished! Everything we had was made with all of the details to make the flavors burst. The service and atmosphere were top notch too. I don’t leave many reviews, but had to share! Go there, you’ll be so happy you did!
