Never coming back again. Ordered biang biang beef stew. I don’t like sauce in my noodles so I chose dry but this was tasteless and bland. Literally plain noodles with dry pieces of beef and broccoli on the top. The noodles weren’t even hydrated. Paid $16 for this. Ridiculous!

Service was great, food was served quickly and tasted really great. We ordered the beef stew noodle (soup) and pickle pork noodle (dry). Both of the dishes was very balanced in taste and flavor were all there. Generally, when I go to other similar restaurant i notice they either were too salty or not enough flavor, but this place hit the spot. Even the noodles ( freshly made in house) was awesome, they were just right with texture and consistency. I would come back to try the cummin lamb noodle on my next stop. Almost forgot to mention, the portion is generous as well.

First timer here! We ordered the Sizzling Garlic Noodle and the Curry & Chicken Noodles both w/ Biang Biang noodles. I enjoyed the noodles as they were nice and bouncy. I think that service could be improved upon, otherwise it was good.

Beef noodle soup is so good. Spicy isn't that spicy so I usually get it. Tender beef and noodles with a good bite

Good hand pulled biang biang noodles; can't go wrong with the cumin lamb. It's nice to see they have a nice outdoor seating arrangement nowadays, used to be very crowded inside in pre-covid days. Definitely something we regularly eat at San Mateo !

Service was kinda slow because of too many online orders.
I tried the Zha Jiang Mian which were okay. The noodles were great, texture was chewy and firm. Spicy and Salty, not sweet. I guess I prefer the Korean style rather than Chinese.

The food is good but the takeout process is poor. They seem to only start cooking the food when you come and check in, which defeats the purpose of the estimated ready time. Consistently causes trips to be much longer than necessary.

Vaguely pan-Asian fast food sort of establishment. Pick your dish, then noodle type (wide or narrow), soup or no soup. Service is quick and the food is yummy. Not as many options as some similar restaurants of this type, but the family has liked all the dishes we have selected so far.
