Decent place to go out and at at. There are a number of unique dishes on the menu that certainly is worth a try. For those who are fans of impossible meat, this restaurant has a couple of dishes that uses that well. Slightly disappointed in the Ginger Braised Short Ribs because it was bit too chewy and the flavor was a bit bland, didn't penetrate the meat fully to give it a full marinated feel. I also wasn't digging the sauce, but the place is still good.

Great food, great friendly service. Love that it is not only got kids friendly menu but kids get to eat for free on Sundays. Service is fast and seafood dishes are not overcooked. Parking are very easy to find on Sundays. You can park anywhere on the streets or covered parking structures.

Lovely staff, nice portions. The sea bass was well prepared. Tasty cocktails and happy hour food offerings, too. The flaming birthday dessert topped off a great meal.

Ate here for the first time for dinner. It was a special celebration for a 3 year old's birthday. Although the place seems geared for adults, they provided exceptional service and food for the adults and child. Highly recommend the cualiflower potato pancakes. Perfectly done on the outside and fluffy on the inside. All dishes were perfectly prepared.
The special dessert for the birthday and the baked Alaska was amazing

Really prompt service, in a casual and upscale setting in downtown San Mateo. I ordered the spinach salad with Scottish salmon, my wife the fish tacos. Both were excellent, albiet 25 dollars each for a total of 60 dollars for lunch (10 dollar tip included). It's steep for a quick bite at lunch, but we'll executed and we'll meaning establishment.

Good food, huge portions. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Was a little hard to find parking spaces. No wait at all, and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded. Kids friendly.

Didn't expect to find a restuant this nice so close to my hotel in San Mateo. The atmosphere is very warm and vibrant. The food is amazing and so are the desserts. You Must try the Skirt steak and the Key lime Pie!! You wont regret it :)

Tasty, interesting dishes with unique combinations. Tried the sole which was really delicious with the lemon caper sauce. Also had the Chilean sea bass with shrimp and mussels which was also very good, although I think the sole was slightly better. Set in an old renovated bank, there's some old pieces of the safe lying around as decor.
