Just went in for soup and ordered the 2 pot soup. One was the Sedona tortilla soup and the other was farmers market. The Sedona tortilla tasted great with good flavour but the farmers market was not that great. The look of the dish was very appealing. The service was good.

California Pizza Kitchen started back in 1985 in Beverly Hills by two attorneys. It is now International and publically traded. Their BBQ Chicken pizza is their signature dish. We were passing by the San Mateo location and decided to refresh our memories.

This CPK is located inside Hillsdale Mall and has a capacity to seat around 50 people. The staff is helpful and they have a very helpful guide on their menu that leads you to their website in case you have food preferences (allergies/ vegan/ gluten free, etc.). We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, the California Veggie Pizza, and 2 drinks: Peach Lemonade & Cucumber Reviver. The food was good quality & tasted good, although the portions were small for the price. This is an easy place to recommend to someone looking for fresh Italian(ish) fair for lunch/ dinner. Bonus: They also serve free bread as a part of the meal which is always great to see.
