Super delicious Indian food. Absolutely flavorful Kerala style curries.... Loved the beef, lamb and chicken. Butter chicken was amazing. Sebastian the chef is friendly and really nice... made our visit memorable! Definitely recommend this place.
My first visit was with mixed feelings. I ordered Kappa with fish curry and realized it was more of a fushion dish than authentic Kerala food. I would have liked it made known on the menu etc than passing off the food as authentic Kerala food. I honestly hated the food, but the five star review is for the service as the owner is super friendly and nice. I’m not sure if I’ll go back there unless I order some catering or takeaway with a request for authenticity.
Food was really good. If you are looking for traditional home made Indian food with vegetables, this is good option. Ask for Kerala style steamed rice. I have had this rice only in Indian villages. Basically raw red rice is boiled to cook it about 70% and then dried and stored. Later just before serving, it is again boiled. It tastes way better and is much healthier than white or brown rice.
The food was delicious.
We came in pretty late at around 2pm so they did not have beef & fish, later the owner told us he had a very busy day so maybe that's why. We had chicken curry, pork vindaloo with kerala rice and parotta.
Everything we ordered tasted really good. It definitely is authentic kerala food. It did take quite some time for them to serve, but considering the number of customers and items the wait was worth it.
We also got a complimentary payasam(sweet dish) which was good as well.
While finishing our meal and asking for boxes, the owner even gave us a free refill of the chicken curry. A very generous gesture.
Will come back again😀😀
Service with a smile! Very friendly owner/chef. I had the prawn curry and the prawns were very fresh. Loved the dish, authentic and tasty. I went there on a whim because I was in the neighborhood, but might make a trip there just to try other food on the menu.
All natural ingredients. They use coconut milk for natural taste. Really exclusive food and delicious. Easy menu when you dine in. But they're catering menu is way more awesome. This restaurant contains Kerala delicacies. So relax and enjoy the food. It's an easy pick for a quick lunch or dinner.
My son loves the lamb curry. The price is very reasonable. Owner Tom is a very nice person. He always gave me extra veggies for my take out and one time I forgot to ask for Naan, he gave me free naan once I told him I forgot to order Naan instead of paratha.
Not just a place to eat but a URL that has immense historical importance in the story if digital Malayalam internet!
I am happy that I had been party to that great history of global south digital Renaissance.
And now that I have been able to visit the place myself, I feel luxuriously rewarded.
Very delicious! We ordered a bunch of Keralan things that weren't on the printed menu; if you don't want the generic Punjabi Indian food, make sure to ask!
Authentic tasting Kerala food in the San Jose area. We tried the avial, fish curry, lamb. You can either order the rice or substitute for 2 Kerala parottas. The parottas are ok. Service is slow though.
