I had chiken biryani, I liked the taste. The rice was spicy and flavorful and the chicken was well marinated and soft.
On another visit I tried their mixed Shezwan fried rice, the fried rice was good but they one small container of the Shezwan sauce which is not sufficient for the full dish. The fried rice had a good combination of veggies, eggs and chicken.
Delicious food! We tried their veg chowmein and paneer momo and loved it. Located inside San Pedro square, this place gets super busy so if you are someone who doesn’t like to wait for food, then you may get disappointed with the service. They get a lot of takeout orders too, so it takes time for your order to arrive so go in early if you plan to eat here.
Food was good, we ordered veg paneer momos along with veg chowmin. I wish they provided with chili hot sauce along with the one they have it on the side. chowmin was good but just not spicy enough for my taste buds. Quality and quantity was good. Since it was Friday night and they were dealing with a lot of orders - it took a while to get the order so expect a wait if you are going there during evening on weekends.
This is located in San Pedro square so it was super lively!
Love this Nepali food! Super super spicy dumplings and chicken wings. But the flavor (in addition to the burning tongue) is great!
Gobi manchurian is very delicious! Highly recommended. Thier shezwan fried rice is also good. However hakka noodles are very spicy, so much chilli in it. Veg stem momos are good. There was live music out side that we enjoyed.
Cashier was friendly and patient even though it was busy. Ordered the Chicken Vindaloo which was delicious, lightly vinegary, rich, and just enough spice to make it interesting without being overly spicy. Tender chicken bits and tasty potatoes, plenty of chicken compared to places like Naan n Curry. Naan was thin, crisp, and tender, not overly thick and bready.
Would definitely come again to try other dishes.
I bought the veg chowmein. It’s the best chowmein I ever had in the US! it tastes just amazing.
We ordered veg schezwan noodles and asked to make extra spicy as we like indian level of spicy. They made it very spicy just as we wanted. I liked the taste as well
I have been to this place once before for fried chicken momos and loved it. Thought of ordering some of the other items on the menu. Ordered through DoorDash.
Delivery:
The food was packed decently.
Food:
1. Chicken Momo Chili: These are momos cooked with chili sauce. I liked the spicy taste. These would go well with a side of rice (which can help finish the sauce :) )
2. Chicken Chow Mein: The noodles were very flavorful. The chicken pieces were a bit larger than I would expect in a chow mein or rice. Also the chicken didnt have a lot of flavor on its own. I still liked the overall taste.
3. Vegetarian Paneer Momo: The stuffing was flavorful. I liked the taste. The sauce that came with this was not enough for the entire dish.
Overall I feel this place is a bit pricer than the other momo places, but still a decent place to get good momos and chow mein :)
So we tried to spread the love and order from a place other than our now regular joint - the Momo Grill. And we were not disappointed with Urban Momo.
The delivery through DoorDash did take a wee bit longer, but the food was packed and delivered safely.
The steamed Chicken Momo were well made succulent and freshly prepared and the sauces with them were very tasty.
But we were blown away with the quality of the Chicken Chow Mein. Fresh veggies and lots of them, now too oily or spicy noodles and check full of chicken slivers made this a delectable dish.
We will be back from more of the Chow Mein and try their other offerings as well!
