Porco Ramen

Came in a group of five, and luckily we were seated almost immediately. Within minutes there were at least a dozen folks outside waiting to be seated. That is definitely a good sign for any type of ramen place! This was the line-up we sampled: * Porco Ramen * Spicy Miso * Cashu Don * Onigiri Unagi I had the Porco Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was tasty, and not overly saturated with sodium. The main standout was the pork. From the texture, flavor, and charred edges, these folks have mastered the art of pork in a ramen bowl! I'd say a few more slices would have been nice, but I'm sure they would have to raise their prices. All of the other dishes that were sampled at the table were also a hit. Not one complaint, and everyone agreed that it was now on their top 3 ramen list. Atmosphere - check! Tasty ramen - Check! Friendly & efficient service - Check! Warrants another visit? - CHECK!

Ordered the Porco ramen and some potstickers. The noodles were pretty good, thin, but al dente. The pork bone broth was somewhat tasty, but not very; it was not as salty as some places (that's good for me). The pork belly slices were grilled a bit, they were kind of hard to chew (not expected since they were pretty fatty), not tasty. The sides, such as the egg and woodear mushroom were pretty good. The potstickers were fresh and crispy outside, liked them. The decor was comfortable and service was great!

Very good find in a strip mall! We tried the Porco and Truffle. We love the broth - rich, creamy and flavorful but not overly salty like a lot of other ramen shops. The special pork cheek was very good. Truffle ramen was unique and I love everything Truffle lol. The karaage was very delicious — crispy, tender and most inside —the best I have tasted! We also ordered the kimchi fried rice with seared pork belly and slow cooked egg. Slightly spicy, flavorful and absolutely delicious! My husband loves the oniguri tuna with perfectly browned and crispy rice. The manager sent us a complimentary onigiri unagi (broiled bbq eel) and that was my favorite of the two onigiri. Ambiance was modern and clean, service is great!!! Love this place. I am coming back again and again!
