Aqui

We really liked the food here-California Mexican food with a delicious salsa bar. The chips weren't anything special, not homemade or anything, but the salsa bar really is great, the roasted tomato salsa or pico are really good, but also the cilantro lime one is good too. There's no table service, you just order at the counter and go back to get your food when it's ready. But that probably keeps the prices good and low. We'd definitely eat here again.

When you walk in, your order is taken at the counter and you pay for your meal & drinks first. That's basically the only area where you get service. There's also a salsa bar, sodas/water, which are self serve. We ordered the Aqui sampler, next time we won't because we got full and didn't finish my meal. The sampler would be great if you're there with at least a group of 4 and having drinks. It was tasty though, carrots would be great with the hummus. For our meals we had the grass fed beef taquitos over cilantro rice & black beans (for him) and the crabcake & free range chicken enchiladas over a delicious roasted corn brown rice. Both entrees were very tasty. Fresh and delicious food. Portions were great too! We also tried the Paradise Patrón Swirl, it had Patrón citronge, vodka, passion and orange juices but with the zero proof frozen margarita, perfect amount of alcohol for us. Lol. It was very busy during dinner, there's someone always around picking up plates and cleaning tables. Both in and outside eating areas, i don't know if there's heaters outside, i didn't notice any. Wear a jacket. Lol.

I absolutely love Acqi, haven't been to this location ever, in fact hadn't been to any of their stores and probably over a year, this store though definitely did not disappoint. The food was fresh, the food was very flavorful, The fusion of different elements always keeps your attention both visually and from a taste perspective. I had a chicken bowl with wild rice and vegetables and wow, I have to say it was amazing. I forgot what I was missing not having been to Acqi's for so long and definitely will be coming back more frequently, highly recommend you will enjoy.

Good food, fair prices. I like that it's fast and fresh and they have unique dishes that aren't heavy and are really flavorful. I like the salmon dish. The jicama and grape compote is a nice and surprising addition of flavors I've never had with Salmon before! The chips and salsa are good, although I'm on the fence about paying extra for them.
