Absolutely love the food at Sophie’s (it is the family business that was Caspian Village!)...some of our favorites: chicken mahkani (butter chicken in case I spelled that wrong!), falafel, bolani...and the creamiest hummus you will ever have! Hands down the best Mediterranean food in the South Bay...and for our family... we would say the best anywhere!
Had the harvest salad, Greek salad, and hummus with garlic pita for takeout. The salads were decent, but the hummus was more like 3 stars: a little bit too salty (I've never salty issue about hummus before), and the garlic pita had no garlic aroma at all. But I'll give overall 4 stars due to the salads.

Sophie's never disappoints with their fresh, high-quality Mediterranean cuisine. Their signature Grilled Chicken Gyro plates are always cooked just right, perfectly complimented with their signature white sauce.
For those who like the extra kick, the hot sauce never goes amiss as well. At Sophie's, you can tell that they truly care about all their ingredients and the dishes that they create. I've tried the Lamb Shank, the Lamb & Beef Gyro, and the Butter Chicken / Chicken Mehkani and I've ended up satisfied with each and every dish.
Though some may complain about the wait time, Sophie's doesn't market itself as a fast food place—it is a restaurant. Quality food takes time and care, and Sophie's definitely makes it worth to wait. They cater to both dine-in customers and to take-out, with additional options of ordering ahead through phone, their website, EZCater, Doordash, and a few other common platforms.
In terms of the environment and the ambience, Sophie's is pretty plain. It's a restaurant with a varied amount of tables and layouts to accommodate both large and small groups. There are a few TV screens set up for those looking for a quieter ambiance while still being able to keep up with the latest sports and whatnot. They do have a playlist that's stuck on the same instrumental loops over and over again, but eh, it's peaceful for the most part. I'm here for the food, not the decor and the setting.
All in all, Sophie's Mediterranean Grill excels at what it does—in providing high quality Mediterranean, Greek, Middle Eastern & Indian Cuisine.

Good and fresh mediterranean food to be had at this place.
The food felt fresh and had flavor, the pita bread was one of the best we ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. We had chicken gyro sandwich, chicken chapli burger and chicken kabab plate and all of them were good. The baklava was really really good and
Somethings could have been better though. The chicken kabab had a red coloring on it which could have been avoided, the chapli burger was low on flavor (chapli kababs usually have freshli grinded coriender seeds and red chilli in it which were both missing) and did not have any lettuce on it while their menu says it does. The burger also had a little too much of the yogurt sauce.
I would not mind going again but not driving that far just for the food.
All the dishes we tried were excellent, you can definitely tell it’s home cooked food.
OMG!! Can you just stop putting crack in your food😩. The addiction is REAL. Never disappointed, the meals and the services are Awesome. Thanks guys 5 Star Rating is not enough
A bit on the pricey side but the food is great! I love the lamb and beef gyro plate, Sophie’s fries and carrot cake!
I’ve been going to Sophie’s for a few years now and their food is absolutely amazing! Their staff is always friendly, and provides great service. Their gyros and rice plates are flavorful, and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
