Sophie's Mediterranean Grill - San Jose - Photo album

Had the harvest salad, Greek salad, and hummus with garlic pita for takeout. The salads were decent, but the hummus was more like 3 stars: a little bit too salty (I've never salty issue about hummus before), and the garlic pita had no garlic aroma at all. But I'll give overall 4 stars due to the sal
Food is good, service is ok , but there is no ambiance… of a restaurant, need to work o. It , no Wi-Fi available,
A hidden treasure in the world of Middle Eastern cuisine! The service here is top-notch; the staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience seamless. The food is a true masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The ambianc
Sophie's never disappoints with their fresh, high-quality Mediterranean cuisine. Their signature Grilled Chicken Gyro plates are always cooked just right, perfectly complimented with their signature white sauce. For those who like the extra kick, the hot sauce never goes amiss as well. At Sophie's,
Wish they had better ambience. Else the food was good. Favorite was the hummus with pita
Good and fresh mediterranean food to be had at this place. The food felt fresh and had flavor, the pita bread was one of the best we ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. We had chicken gyro sandwich, chicken chapli burger and chicken kabab plate and all of them were good. The baklava was
All the dishes we tried were excellent, you can definitely tell it’s home cooked food.
OMG!! Can you just stop putting crack in your food😩. The addiction is REAL. Never disappointed, the meals and the services are Awesome. Thanks guys 5 Star Rating is not enough
A bit on the pricey side but the food is great! I love the lamb and beef gyro plate, Sophie’s fries and carrot cake!
I’ve been going to Sophie’s for a few years now and their food is absolutely amazing! Their staff is always friendly, and provides great service. Their gyros and rice plates are flavorful, and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Gyros, yum haven't had one for awhile. Nice to have on this side of town. Haven't tried the other selections yet, but should be good too. Closed on Sunday's. Update the chicken kebob/ biryani is good, the soup is a little spicy but good, and salad is right on taste. So all selections taste good,
Love the lamb shank!! The lamb is so tender and falls off the bone. The gravy is delicious and it all goes well with the rice. And don't forget to get some baklava. Not too sweet and always fresh.
Cool place for Mediterranean delights like kabobs, falafel, hummus. Also serves pastas and Biryani incase you have a deep appetite..
Great neighborhood restaurant. Foods very fresh. Just had a banquet with 80 guests and the food was excellent. Joey was great to work with and made our party planning really smooth. We continue to go here for local eats.
The food here is the best. I love the chicken Kabob and Rice plate. We go at least 2-4 a month. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. And the service is awesome, very friendly staff!! Update 03/29/22: the food here never fails! The best hands down. Also, if you like hot sauce, make sure y
Cozy atmosphere and great service, plus the food was delicious. A wonderful place to unwind.
This little gem does mostly take out but has a few casual tables inside. All of the offerings are well prepared and satisfying. The lamb dishes and lamb shank are worthy of an upscale Greek restaurant. This place is a pleasant surprise.
We like the gyros in particular but have tried other items on the menu, e.g. Greek salad, very good too. Food close to 5*, Ambiente 2* because the owner hardly ever opens the nice part of the restaurant. You get plastic ware, so etching I really don't like.
