Great pizza down to the perfect crust, tangy sauce and creative, fresh, gourmet toppings. They have great breakfast pizzas and appetizers like tatcho’s too, a comfort foodie paradise! Also solid craft beer selection and mimosas on weekends to pair w breakfast za! The staff has always been cool w changing one of their many TVs to my fave sports teams- and they have nice, dog friendly patio and board games too.
Sammy G's is a phenomenal experience! My friends and I really enjoyed watching the Final 4 there in 2017 while enjoying the great selection of beer and delicious pizza (especially the Spicy Hawaiin). I encourage you to go enjoy great pizza and a cold one at Sammy G's!
It's a nice place to go after walking my dog at San jose state. They have personal pizza and craft beers . They are dog friendly and my small dog can be free without a problem at the outdoor seating area which is fenced.
Pizza here is a bit on the pricy side. It's like 24 bucks for a 14 inch pizza. Beer is pricy as well. In terms of the pizza, it was good. The crust was crunchy and the leoparding was there. It's right by the college so it has a college crowd to it (if you're into that...) they seem to let my dog inside and outside which is always a nice bonus.
They also serve beer here. Asked for a pitcher and they had two of their taps go out. You win some you lose some.
Scrolling through maps, I came across this delicious gem. I had the El Presidente pizza and WoW. You can really taste passion when someone enjoys their work. I complimented the chef.
Interesting beers and good eats. Outdoor patio is covered and dog-friendly. We’ve been regulars since they opened. Stop in for the lunch deal.

The pizza was good but, I really enjoyed their bbq wings. I will definitely be grabbing lunch there again soon.
Right across from the SJSU dorms is Sammy G's. Got the happy hour specials. Good pizza, nice staff. Sure it's friskier once the college students show up, but my experience was super chill and kid friendly. Nice beer selection as well.

Tater tots on the spot. You can do half and half and try different flavors. Liked mac and cheese pizza the most so far
TL;DR: good pizza, but a bit pricey.
I like the different flavors of pizza offered here, especially the mother clucker* (lulz for the clever naming). A 10" pizza goes for $13 and 14" ones go for $23. I would say the prices are decent, but only if shared (from a college student's perspective). Besides pricing, I also think that the place is neat and nicely organized.
