For months I was craving pupusas, and then, yesterday, "I found" this place, and IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT.
Its menu is wide and varied, including its Aguas Frescas. They also have a lovely patio area; I recommend you have your meal there. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean.
I enjoyed:
- Loroco pupusa (Salvadoran vegetables with cheese)
- Jalapeños pupusa (jalapeños and cheese)
- Beans pupusa
- Chicharrón pupusa (pork)
- Revuelta pupusa (pork, beans and cheese)
- Agua de maracuya
- Sangría
Bonus: they do not limit you to the amount of salsa or curtido (vegetables) that accompany the pupusas. They bring you the bottle of salsa and a plate, not a small container, with the curtido.

Only second time ever having pupusas. Very savory! Liked the beef and the pork, did not like the chicken. The restaurant had a night club vibe (is it a night club at night?). Service was friendly and quick
I think the place badly needs a remodel. It's not my cup of tea. The music was too loud, the tables were not comfortable, the restrooms atrocious. However I'm here to talk about the food. I ordered pupusas with beans and cheese and pupusas with loroco and cheese and an ensalada de fruta which is a tropical fruit drink with chunks of fruit. The food is so good though, such a contrast to the way the place looks. I definitely want to try other dishes next time, but I'll be honest I'll most likely order to-go.
This place is a quaint little spot that appears to have a crazy night life. I went there to pick up some pupusas for lunch and it's clear that it has a stage and some party light. From what I could tell they have a semi full bar and make drinks at night. So restaurant by day party location at night.
I’ve been to about 5 other pupuserias and El Águila is hands down the restaurant that gets closest to making pupusas that taste like my grandma’s. This is my new go to spot!
First time this place. Service was a little slow, but the food was wonderful. Loved the Yuca Frita y Chicharron.
Really great food clean well prepared. I looked on Google for like 10 minutes just so I can leave a review. This place is Kraken.
Pupusas were good, nice variety, friendly service. Didn't like paper plates and plastic cutlery, the only reason for the missing star.
Service was great and fast. Food was super good! We sat outside to avoid the loud noise so that my group could conversate, but after a while the music got louder. However, if you want to go dance, its cool
