Loved the salad I had tonight at Gai. This is a big upgrade from your usual fast casual salad! the chicken is tender and the pickled cucumbers are delicious. The soup just warms your soul right up. This is a new staple for me in the Castro

the chicken here is amazing!! portion size was big, the crisp was on point and the taste was fabulous. I tried both buns, the roll and the hot dog style one and I couldn't tell which was better. they both have their advantages.

An excellent place to get some steamed chicken and rice. The chicken is very good - soft, juicy, and flavorful. The rice is cooked with chicken broth and is quite tasty. The hainan sauce is delicious!

OK seriously some of the most delicious Thai chicken rice you can get in SF. We always get extra broth and a side of broccoli, and the ginger sauce is the perfect condiment to round everything out. Chicken's tender, rice is flavorful, and portions are solid. Easily one of our favorites!

Really flavorful rice and moist chicken. Upgrading to the combo plate, adding extra meat, and/or a soft poached egg is definitely the way to go. The price is definitely SF pricing ($11 - $15 per bowl) but this is one of the better chicken rice places in SF.

This place always satisfies my cravings. I usually go to the Sherman oaks location. I was in West Hollywood when I randomly noticed they have a location here too. I'm so glad because it's so close to my fiancé's house. I tried out their wings for the first time and I think it's my new favorite. My fiancé got the wrap with cheese and that was really good as well. Next time I'm going to try their fried pickles.

Great service! Food is delicious and consistent ALWAYS. Way better than anyones! Can't wait to come back.
They're open every day until 3 am which is super convenient. Food doesn't take long at all. You can also order through postmates and other delivery services. I get the combo #2 "Gai Chicken Rice" with extra sauce!
