Wonderful tiny sushi joint. The fish is super fresh and the chef is happy to walk you through the entire meal. It’s a humble small joint, but def recommend for the low key well priced sushi dinner.

Love this little restaurant on Valencia. It’s intimate and family run. They are always wonderfully pleasant with the sushi chief displaying his skills and the waitress running things smoothly. This place is a hidden (not so hidden) treasure.

It's a gem.
I went there with my wife on a Friday night. The cook is the owner of the restaurant, which has been open for 35 years -- he is incredibly nice and gives great recommendations.
He also owns another bigger restaurant on Valencia a couple of blocks north, but this is the original place where he is exclusively making sushis himself.
Prices are really reasonable for the quality ($35 per person including sushis, edamame, and sake).
The restaurant is really small (10-12 people max!) authentic and peaceful.

Confusingly, there are two restaurants called "We Be Sushi" within a few blocks of each other on Valencia. This location is the original, smaller, higher quality and slightly more expensive. Very good sushi.

such a neighborhood gem! high quality sushi for an incredibly fair price. the sushi chef is skilled and friendly. server is quick and attentive. the place is small and seating is very limited but i love this place!
