Customer service was okay. Our server was polite and got all our orders correct. We got two bento boxes that had salmon, beef teriyaki, avacado roll, tempura, and gyoza. We also ordered three different ramens, a caterpillar roll, karage, and a teriyaki set. The ramen broth was just OK. That goes for all 3 that we got. It was sub par. The gyoza was dry, the karage dry, the teriyaki was dry and almost flavorless. And the caterpillar roll didn't impress me. I guess we are just too accustomed to actual Japanese food since we grew up in Japan. But being stateside often now for the past 7 years, we have been to many great Japanese restaurants. This happened to be a disappointment. Two stars for service. Zero stars for food. Do I recommend this place? No. Plus, for the price, it's not worth it.

Super slow service. Water was served in paper cups and chopsticks were disposable. Ordered salmon hand roll and spicy tuna hand roll. Was given two salmon rolls and was under the impression that each order came in sets of two. Asked about the tuna roll and the chef insisted that he had served a tuna and a salmon roll instead of the two salmon we received. Food was overpriced.

It seems hardly fair to judge a restaurant based on their bento boxes but I think it says something when simple dishes are not conscientiously prepared. The salmon teriyaki was dry, the gyoza was oily, and the agedashi tofu was fair at best. We also had a hamachi appetizer and the fish was not fresh. The service was good with friendly waitstaff.
