India Clay Oven

This place is so beautiful and the food was amazing! We ordered the clay oven thali for two and it was very filling and delicious! We even got yummy dessert The manager was our server and was so very sweet and cared very much about giving us a great experience. He even opened the door for us as we exited :) definitely recommend coming to this cozy restaurant!

The owner and server Mr. GURVINDER SINGH are amazingly customer friendly professionals. The food is very tasty too but their service and behaviour trumps everything. We are out of towner Indians first time eating here and its REAL authentic indian food! We took take away to savor next day too Thanks a TON!!

I used to come to India Clay Oven 12 years ago when I lived in the neighborhood and I was pleasantly surprised to revisit now that I’m back. This restaurant has always been delicious- really flavorful dishes. The okra dish is one of my favs (forgot the name 🤦🏽‍♀️) The staff is sweet and attentive and the atmosphere is classy. There was even a rose on the table and mint water which was delightful.

I had the pleasure of dining at Clay oven on Clement Street earlier this week with a good friend of mine. We weren’t sure what we were in the mood for, but it looked cozy and inviting so we went inside. Right away, we were greeted warmly, and made to feel very comfortable. We ended up ordering the coursed out dinner for two which included two types of chicken and a couple of veggie dishes, some naan and some starters. It was so plentiful and fresh and flavorful. We couldn’t believe the feast and at such an incredible price. We also ordered wine which can be hit or miss at many restaurants, but the Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious. The service was terrific and we were made to feel like royalty. I have to say the warm donut holes for dessert were out of this world. I’ll be going back soon!
