I've been coming here for years. Great neighborhood spot. Owner is there everyday and always treats us with such kindness. Food is delicious. Anything tandoori is amazing (chicken, prawns, fish, kebab), Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Nagari (beef shank)...incredible. Garlic and Cauliflower Naan are a must!
I like to have here if I have time enough. Good and delicious curry, BBQ, dessert, chai, I love it all.
I ordered Chicken Tandoori Biryani and it was delicious. The chicken was so soft and juicy. Although this Biryani is pretty different in taste and in presentation than most Biryanis - No raita and spicy curry on the side and also seems to have some tomatoes I felt.
Try their chicken tandoori, you’ll love the way it’s presented
The owner is very kind and friendly. This is a very old family owned restaurant who belong from Lahore.
I believe the lighting in the restaurant can be improved, it feels a bit dark, there is a mess of wires and electronic systems visible from many tables and the restaurant walls needs to be painted. So no cozy or romantic vibes!
Amazing fast service, very friendly staff. Food was delicious. We had the veggie chili mo mo and the okra masala and a chicken curry. All was wonderful and we will be back when we visit in the future.
We got chicken tandoori biryani and it was delicious! The chicken seekh kabab were good in taste but a bit dry, not juicy at all. The chicken wrap was not the best; the wrap was made of tandoori roti and it was a mouthful and then really very little chicken pieces inside and full of lettuce. Compared to other restaurants who charge minimum $15 per food item, this place has good tasting food and lower prices.
Great customer service and very delicious food, Hari is the best customer services and respectful person, I highly recommended people to have a dinner or lunch with this Darbar Restaurant.
Family oriented restaurant that serves traditional Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Food came out quick and was a filling meal for a great price. Server was also fantastic
Best authentic pakistani biryani in the US!!! We travelled all the way from Houston just for their biryani. While we were visiting for the second time , Mr. Khan gave us a taste of some yummy samosas and rice pudding & they were equally delicious if not more. Highly highly recommend their biryani and kheer😀😀
* Could’t resist eating biryani as soon as it came to our table, hence theres no picture of it *
I work down the street at MAC'D. While I was reading the Lunch Buffet sign outside of Darbar, a lady passing by me said "It's worth it. All you can drink Chai too." Well I was sold. I came in. I ate. I am still here at Darbar as I write this review. Not only am I impressed with the friendly service and the all you can eat food, I am impressed with the prices. Eating lunch at this restaurant is affordable, not something many SF restaurants can claim. If you're still reading this review, definitely go in and eat at Darbar.
Had an excellent lunch there and can't beat the price at 9.99. The tandoori chicken was some of the most moist I've had in the city. Also the lentils were rich in flavor to go along with the fried veggies. The mango Lassi was a great way to end the meal. Also the rice pudding was sweet and pairs well with the chai tea.
I went to Darbar Restaurant on a Sunday before church. I ordered an chicken wrap and rice pudding. The indian food was delicious. The people who worked there were very nice. I will definitely be back😏
The best things shrimp biryani , seekh kabob , chicken tikka, Brain masla, nehari, and others , tea is great , afternoon buffet is there but I don’t try it , best thing indian n Pakistani old songs which the owner is also lover , lassi n gulab jaman but mango lassi is good
